8-22 from the field. He can't make those jump shots in the play off's that he's making in the regular season. Yet mainstream media will still harp how he's not conditioning well and how he's injured

He looked fine when I checked in during the first half. Woke up and he'd disaster-clowned it since, heh.

Embiid is never shaking the playoff narratives. He didnt have a bad game but damn that was one of the biggest chokes Ive ever seen.

The difference between him and Jokic in the playoffs reminds me of the difference beteeen Robinson and Olajuwon in the playoffs.

Embiid/Robinson spend too much time offensively being stuck out on the perimeter facing up taking lower % shots.

Jokic/Olajuwon have shown to be equally adept facing up or playing with their back to the basket which makes both of them more resilient/efficient offensively come playoff time.

His post up game is poor and his hands are not that good, he reminds me of Nurkic with his hands when he plays around rim. Lots of bad misses from the good positions around rim.

How embarrassing is for a center that is 7"1 to shoot in 40's game after game in the play off's :-? If Embiid was shooting two or three percents better, the Sixers would have won both games, yet Embiid will get the free pass by the media

I can't understand how on earth there's talk about him playing for team USA when he's supposedly ailing. Other than a once in a lifetime opportunity I see 0 reason for him to go to Paris.

It's more urgent for him to lead Philly to a title or at least a Finals appearance than a Gold medal on a stacked USA team capable of winning without him. Under his leadership they've never even got past the 2nd round. He's 30 years old with a injury ridden past.

He should be saying: "Hey I don't think I'll be fit to play, maybe you should pick someone else instead" .

Maybe there is some credence to what you were saying earlier about his injuries

one of the biggest? the entirety of the choke was a bad inbounds play (and i guess lowry missing the free throw if every free throw miss is a choke). all of the other plays involved were either a) philly taking the lead late when it had been a tie game for most of the 4th, b) normal stuff like a layup getting blocked or c) a 7-28 brunson chucking up another brick that happened to accidentally bounce in.

They were up 101-96 w/ 47 secs left..........8-0 run in the last 47 secs is a massive choke. They effectively had the game won and had an enormous choke

Well he just did 50/84 on 19 shots in what has been a much more defensive playoff season in both conferences.

Haven't watched the series but he's a big positive in the on-court +/- in each game. Philly has slammed NYK with him out there every game.

Impressive performance, overshadowed by some seriously underhanded behaviour from him, driven by his perception of not getting calls all the while shooting 21 free throws. Not a great look regardless of his very well documented health situation.

Lucky to stay on the court.
