Fewest losses in a single season?

  • The 1996-1997 Bulls lost only 17, but the 1996 Bulls probably hold the record with 13.
  • Franchise Record for the Celtics came in 1986, with 18 losses.
  • The 2001 Lakers who went 15-1 in the playoffs had more total losses than the titles that bookend the threepeat. During this time, their fewest losses came in 2000 with 23. Their franchise best in the Magic-Kareem era was in 1987 with 20. But, Jerry West owns the franchise record in 1972 with 16, during a shortened playoff.
  • Last years Mavericks are actually pretty solid with 19.
EDIT: Including playoffs!

Anybody got more?
