Chris Paul is the Best Point Guard
He's even better than Nash. Holy cow. This guy plays with so much poise and confidence. He knows what he is doing at all times on the offense, whether to shoot or to pass. He's such a smart player and a great finisher.
He's a Nash who plays defense IMO.
I am watching him play and there is no question in my mind that he's the best point guard in the league.

I seriously think that he's even better than Nash on offense because of the confidence he gives his teammates. He'll keep passing back to the post up guy and set him up nicely and he can drive very easily and kick out or finish. His jumpshot is no fluke either. He can knock it down if left open.
This guy is so good at such a young age, I can't wait to see what he does in his prime.

And thats the thing about Nash. Nash is one of the best shooters in the history of the NBA. He doesn't just knock down the open jumper. He hits fadeaways with hands in his face, he takes the clutch 3 at the end of the game, he sees things no one else can see, and threads the pass through the eye of a needle. There is no better offensive point guard in the league right now than Steve Nash. He's #3 in NBA history in Free Throw %, and is one of the most efficient shooters ever in his career. Then you add in his court vision, passing, and leadership and you get a top 10 point guard of all time, and again, the best PG in the game today.

Its pretty obvious to an outside observer who watches both play that Chris Paul is far and away superior to Deron Williams. Williams is a great player, but Chris Paul is a legitimate MVP candidate.

Chris Paul is a beast. Screw that "I still think Steve Nash is the best because he's a veteran and a former MVP player" mentality crap. Chris Paul is averaging over 20 points and 10 assists a game, and he's STILL able to make his teammate (David West) into an all-star player. In his young career he's already leading his team into the top spots in the West, neck and neck with the veteran Nash's Suns.
