Rondo's rank as PG in the NBA

Rondo is in the bottom third of point guards in the NBA. He looks way better then he is playing with three stars on his team, their championship is even more miraculous because they did it, even while carrying Rondo. You might think Rondo was good defensively based on Steals/Rebounds, but he's not, he gambles a lot, and is out of position quite often. Billups and any strong guard easily move Rondo wherever they want him to be, and generally Rondo looks overmatched badly. Offensively Rondo is the equivalent to Ben Wallace.
