Both tweener forwards, each with a pretty unique skillset, who you got and why?

different players really but i choose gallinari and yes i'm a knickfan but i'm not a homer ... beasley just doesn't pass the ball, like ever.

gallianri does it all and for those who've actually watched him would know he's a very solid defensive player with smarts. very solid shotblocker as well and uses his body well on defense.

he can get better on offense, espically driving to the rim and he has done that as of late but he has to get more consistent at doing that.

Gallinari. Better defender, better shooter, and much more of a complete game overall. There's really nothing Beasley does better than Gallinari.

if you promised me that Beasley would behave and is mentally healthy I would probably take him. The problem is that you can't make that guarantee, so I would play it safe and take the player I know won't end up going crazy and moving to Africa like Dave Chappelle. For those reasons I go with Gallo. But Beasley's looked good this season though, and I do have a soft spot for lefties. Hopefully he keeps his **** together and doesn't fall off his track.

I think Beasley is a great talent, but Gallo strikes me as a winning player. I think he does the little things better, obviously a better shooter, and i think he's a better help defender as well. I also think he has higher basketball IQ (i'm actually pretty sure about that one, and the shooting, obviously), Beasley has a better post game though, and he's a better scorer right now. Both guys should make a couple of all-star games in the future based on their talent.

Beasley has one foot out of the door of the NBA already.I will go with the player that has 100x the work ethic in Gallo.

Admittedly I haven't seen either play alot (although clearly Beasley more than Gallinari). But of the two, I've been way more impressed with Beasley.

I like Gallo's stroke but this one is Beasley if he can keep himself out of trouble.

gallo by far. there's so many players that can play for himself like Beasley. Gallo plays for the team and makes it better

Pose this question: If either were to switch teams, how do you think it would turn out?

heat would be better ... another great 3pt shooter to go with cook and you can't explain it because when you look at the stats you don't see it but gallinari is a winner ... when he's in the game the team plays better because he rarely takes dumb shots and he will always pass the ball to someone else when he believes the shot isn't a smart shot.

he's not extremely athletic like beasley and he's not fast as beasley but his defensive awareness and positioning is superb ... he deflects passes, has quick hands that forces turnovers, and while his man to man defense isn't that good(because he lacks footspeed, although vs pf's could be different) his help defense and weakside shotblocking is excellent.

he can run the pick and roll very good as how he threads the needle with perfect passing.

beasley has no 3pt range ... at least not yet so he wouldn't be effective in d'antoni's system.
