It really isn't. Or he'd have to keep answering everytime someone says it and it'll just be neverending. First Perkins, now Cousins, who's Next?
I disagree.
One Tweet:
"I love this city. I love this team.
I ain't going nowhere"...would quash most of the rumor mongering.
Pin it at the top of his Twitter/IG accounts.
Problem solved.
Trae is too intelligent to do that. He may be content to be a Hawk today but he knows that someday that may not be the case. Better to say nothing
As far as Trae is concerned, there is no problem. Just people talking. Who cares

Then this is no longer
his team.
He's just another asset and should be treated as such.

Trae Young should take some notes from Ronny...

My prediction is that Trae ends up on the Nuggets eventually. He teams up with one of his bestfriends MPJ and they can make a package work.

This is the Klutch Sports media machine at work. (Shams is a well known
mouthpiece for Lebron and Rich Paul.)
It's not exactly a ringing endorsement, but it's something.

Even before this Shams 'piece' local radio and beat writers have indicated that Trae and Quin are in lock step with each other as of now.
Next year? Remains to be seen.

And those were real journalists. Which gives me more faith that it's real.
I do believe we're on the right track with the Quin/Trae pairing.I'm placing my faith in the process over the results. If we keep this staff and system in place for another year, but shift the roster just enough to maximize this elite offense while fielding a league-average defense...we'll be fine moving forward.

Hawks' Trae Young fires back at 'selfish' label: 'Makes me mad'
Trae Young expresses his feelings on being called "selfish."
Atlanta Hawks superstar Trae Young has received many labels over his career, being called “coach killer” and “selfish.” “Ice Trae” hasn't been afraid to embrace his inner villain, either.
But in a recent interview with Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report, he addressed the “selfish” label being put on him by some NBA coaches and executives. Young, who averages 10.8 assists this season, expressed that being called “selfish” bothers him a lot.

Still find it unfathomable that Trae never improved at moving without the ball.
He'd be elite at C&S opportunities. The fact he's sitting at 0 rated on this scale speaks volumes.

With hindsight, it's pretty telling that when Trae hit a game winner years ago against the might Bucks...literally none of his teammates ran to celebrate/support/high five him.
Contrast that with how Hawks teammates flock to Murray after he wins a game.

If you're gonna do something big, do it bigger than anyone else has ever done. Right, Trae?

As recently as last year? Sometimes we try to make an issue where there is none. Just enjoy the games win or lose.

It's undeniable that Trae has a tendency to rub teammates the wrong way. And coaches too. Even as a brash 1st year player.
It's really noteworthy that none of the guys on the floor from this first game winner...are still Atlanta Hawks today.
(K-Von, Collins, Bembry)

The step back is a huge part of Trae's shot diet. But i wish he'd wean himself off of it.

Serious question:
Would you guys quantify Trae as a 'Culture Killer'?

First define the Hawks Culture....and what then is he supposed to be killing?
