Not the wrong sentiment; I'm thinking that if we trade Bogdan, Huerter can be a younger/cheaper replacement who already has ties to our locker room.
Also, we only 5 months to trade that dfraft pick. Huerter has years remaining under contract to revive his trade value.
There's too much uncertainty regarding team.direction at the moment.
Maybe use it to move up in draft? We can trade it to a team without a pick this year for one in 2025 when we don't have one.
