Even adding a vet like Gordon Hayward top our locker room could be beneficial.

I checked in with the Charlotte board: Murray for PJ/Terry :nonono:

We keep saying ad size and athleticism around Trae but Quin still plays small by not using the bigger players he has. :-?

Serious Question:

Who/what are you referring to?

We can play bigger with JJ/OO/CC - particularly when we are struggling rebounding. Give Bruno some spot minutes.

Team was doomed with no pure wing to mitigate the issues on the team. Bey is not a winning player. His shooting drought is the nail in the coffin for me, he's next to worthless if that shot isn't falling.

The best wing this franchise had in the past 20 years was Duck... It's time to change that narrative either this draft or with the incoming assets from a DJM trade.

Did you just state that Marvin Williams was a better wing player than Joe Johnson? :o

Bring him here on a modest, long term deal.

I've been a fan of this young man for a while.

In disbelief more teams didn't make an effort to steal him away last summer (during his RFA?).

He'd be great here as starter or reserve.

It's amazing that after all this time, our two franchises are still largely going through the exact same phases/questions/hurdles.

Catch and shoot players will feast alongside Trae. Donte Di Vincenzo look like a long term option at SG?

Apparently, we're like the 3rd shortest team in the NBA...

Not ideal.

Hawks need a big man with soft hands who can finish strong at the rim.

6'5", 200lb tank of a defender -- shooting >40% from deep this year.

I'd love to get my hands on this kid as a starting SG next to Trae!!

This stuff, in addition to the Trae thread on the trade/transactions board, is what makes it frustrating. Trae is to blame for all of Atlanta's issues but Luka isn't for Dallas for some reason?

Can you imagine the Trae backlash if a player vetoed/opted out of accepting a trade to play with him. Just saying (regardless of the player).

Kyle Kuzma on Mavs' trade offer: 'I wanted to stay in Washington and continue to build something'

When Wizards chief decision-maker Michael Winger informed Kuzma that the general framework of a trade was in place to send Kuzma to the Mavericks — a potential deal that Winger felt only lukewarm about — Kuzma told Winger he wanted to remain with the Wizards. “There was a point in time, Dallas, they definitely did want me,” Kuzma told The Athletic on Monday, before the Wizards played the Mavericks at American Airlines Center. “Winger presented me with what the trade was and obviously didn’t want to trade me and kind of left the decision up to me a little bit and asked me what I wanted to do. I told him I wanted to stay and continue to build something. And that was kind of the end of it.”

I would strongly consider adding this dude to the starting 5 next year.
He has the size to man the SG or the SF position and he'd be a great mentor to guys like Kobe and Jalen.
