Such a wild situation it was with John and the team. Utah will get the best out of him.

One frustrating part of watching a team with constant Front Office changes: we've had to watch 3 different General Managers make the same mistakes with Hawks PFs over the last decade.
Infuriating that Hawks parted ways with Josh Smith, AL Horford, Paul Millsap and John Collins over the last ten+ years -- and the combined return was an end of career Rudy Gay plus a protected 2nd round pick that will never convey.
That's a ton of talent the Hawks just gifted away because they refused to trade the above players when they were at their peak trade value.
What's the
definition of insanity again.

Collins will have success in Utah.
Atlanta gave up on a weapon and have kept players that are useless.

It's really possible, but I still think I would be at his best playing with a spacing C, which is not the case of Kessler.
IMHO, it's not the perfect fit, but if at least he's used better than he was here, he will at least have a good looking season

Hawks definitely missed Collins elite screen and roll game and rim finishing against NY Knicks last night. JC would have yammed both of those lobs home for Trae.

There's been a couple of games this season (vs Knicks and OKC specifically) where I believe the Hawks would have won with Collins in the game catching lobs, grabbing boards and screening for shooters.
He's been closer to his old self in Salt Lake City.

Not worth his contract. Hawks have moved on and it's for the better

JC playing big minutes at Center with Walker Kessler injured.
He looks good.

Having an elite rebounder like Collins would have been helpful last night...

He started shooting it better last season after Nate was fired and Quin came on board.
24.8% vs 38.0% ...so I'm not sure where all the surprise is coming from.

Hawks definitely missing the rim running of J Collins right now.
Capela has bricks for hands and regularly misses lobs.
Okongwu is undersized and can't get the same height as Collins or Jalen Johnson.
