Any of the prospects on our roster good enough to become a Desmond Bane or JJJ caliber player for us?

(I thought AJ was a Bane caliber scorer, but something weird is going in with that young man.)

The only keepers on our team is Trae Young and Jalen Johnson for me. If we're confident in the backcourt of Trae and Dejounte Murray so be it.

I believe he's only played two games but I hope he can keep the numbers consistent.

Seth Lundy (23 years old) looks promising too.

Can Kobe move up into that #2 slot in the rankings based on minor league production?

Okongwu looked good last game.

Bufkin can be, IMO, as affective for us as Jalen Williams was last year for OKC.

No idea where AJ is development wise...

Is Kobe the #2 prospect right now just for the Minor League production?

1A. JJ - his skillset is so tantalizing
1B. OO - I initially wanted to put him first, but I need him to 'explode'
2. AJ - his footwork, shooting and feel for the game at just 19
3. Bufkin
4. Gueye - I just have a feeling
5. TyTy
6. Garuba
7. Vit
8. Lundy

Update time:
1. JJ
2. OO
3. Bufkin
4. Lundy
5. Gueye
6. AJ :-? . He's out of the rotation and not even playing in the GL. How did it get here so quickly?

With Gueye being assigned to GL, here's a look back at his SL.

I've been frustrated in the past with how little we used the G-League as a development tool for high-profile, young players.

But clearly that organization has been much more integral for us with Jalen and Kobe. I hope that remains the case in the future, especially with us adding 2 more rookies this summer.

Sounds like they have a helluva development program down in College Park. Maybe we should send Trae and Dejounte down for a few games?

Kobe Bufkin was one of my favorite prospects from that 2023 Draft.

He's coming along really nicely and projects to be one of the better two way guards in the league moving forward.

Elite role player.

End of season update:
1. JJ - awesome season despite the injuries
2. Kobe - his offense needs work, but very impressive defense
3. Mo - I still have that feeling. Played well in his last start
4. OO - disappointing season overall. Could not wrestle the starting spot from CC and took him awhile to get going in Quin's scheme. Then he got injured.
5. Vit - an unexpected surprisr
6. AJ - a very confusing season for the young man
7. Lundy - held it down in the GL, when he wasn't injured.

Is AJ getting a 3rd NBA season to prove his worth as a prospect?

For $3.9 million and still 20 years old I don't see why not.
He did the things on defense they asked of him while with the SkyHawks. If he's here, hopefully he plays in Summer League. If anything you try and rehab his value for a trade if that's the route.

Also...please be accurate:
Despite the Hawks wasting Griffin's rookie season, they still have a tremendous 3-point shooter who could help space the floor for his point guard next season

This is not correct. He had an awesome rookie campaign. His sophomore season though - not so much.
