I like Baynes. Could be a good mentor to The Destroyer.

I'll take pick #22 for the trouble.

Would #22 BE ENOUGH to TAKE him off THEIR HANDS?

Is Jaylen Brown, #14 and that future Memphis pick enough for Washington?

Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal could be a "prime option" for the Celtics after they failed to acquire New Orleans Pelicans superstar center Anthony Davis, per Brenner. Beal would not come cheap as a 25-year-old star signed for two more seasons. Beal and Celtics star Jayson Tatum are both from the St. Louis area and have known each other for a long time, so they likely would have great chemistry on and off the court.

I'm far from a capologist, but i can't see the salary matching being a dealbreaker. Particularly with Morris, Horford, Kyrie leaving and Celtics looking to dump Baynes.

They're clearly prepping for an aggressive move.

I just wonder what exactly WAS is waiting for. Their ineptitude all season and post-season is making Beal's departure inevitable.

This is the time to get max value for that dude.

Jaylen + #14 + the Memphis pick is a bit sparse on return value. But it's where I'd start the bidding for Beal.

I forgot about their capspace since Horf and Kyrie leaving for nothing 8-) . If they move Baynes they'll have $23 mil.
Wiz have no GM, so they are reluctant to make such a franchise changing move. They need to move Wall, i don't know who's taking that contract though.
I saw a snippet about them offering Beal a 3yr extension, who knows what they are doing.

Beal won't be traded unless a team massively over pays for him. He's the only thing Was has of value to build on and he isn't complaining or trying to bolt. They'll keep him and extend him.

Brooklyn does look like a possibility but the media is throwing any news out they wish too. True or False.
Good luck teaming with Kyrie Irving if it happens!

Tacko Falls joins Boston and signs for the lowest minimum possible.

I hope he has personal success in the league.

Poor Smoove. He'll get a way better reception when the BIG3 rolls into town here. Shoot all the 4s you want!

On the good side, there might be an NBA market for Smoove after all...

Thank goodness we don't have to root for creeps like this on our bball team.

New Hornets draft pick secretly recorded sex videos in high school, lawsuits say

Six months before the Charlotte Hornets selected Jalen McDaniels in the second round of the NBA Draft, the former San Diego State standout was sued by two female high school classmates, who claim that McDaniels recorded them performing sexual acts without their consent. The girls, both accomplished student-athletes themselves, were taunted and experienced “slut-shaming” at school and during sports events in which they competed, their lawsuits say.

No criminal charges were filed. Still, McDaniels’ selection in the NBA Draft early Friday morning raises questions about the rigor of the Hornets’ due diligence in making the pick and how the player’s high school conduct factored into the decision.

In the first incident, which the lawsuit says took place in January 2016, McDaniels hid in a closet while recording the woman with his friend, the accuser’s complaint says. Later, according to the lawsuit, he shared the footage in a group chat with his basketball teammates and others.

According to the complaint, one of them dropped out of high school. Both attempted suicide, which their attorney says was directly related to McDaniels’ videos.

Yeah. That's just ... low. It's why, even though he was found "innocent" or w/e, I can't root for a guy like Derrick Rose.

Sadly, this probably isn't all that uncommon nowadays. Ahhhh ... I weep for our youth sometimes.
