Looks like he's gained some muscle. Point forward/center ala Draymond Green would be a good transition for him.

I still believe he has some value on a basketball court. But I wouldn't trade anything of value to get him...and I'd demand Dorian-Finney Smith be sent to us as well, for the trouble of taking on his contract.

If his "back" is healthy, he'd be a helluva mystery box to have. A point forward with DPOY upside would be great next to Trae.

The problem that remains is that he's certainly working on a lot of things this summer but still won't be able to shoot 3s, so we would need to absolutely adjust the roster and trade at least Capela. Okongwu will certainly shoot 3s next season so he can fit. But if playing with Simmons, you need every other players shooting 3s to get the best from him and having spacing for Trae too

I watched part of BKN games when they had a 12W stretch this season, and Simmons had the best Net rating of the team during this stretch. He can clearly come back, but he has to find a way to be able to attack the rim again and not just playing defense and dishing the ball.

Poor Ben. This could have been just the jumpstart he needs. Like what happened with Lauri Markkannen last summer.

I don't believe he's capable of anything like Lauri. Chicago made a mistake with Lauri by not making him a focal point, but Philly made a mistake by drafting Ben Simmons, and it caused them to have setbacks.

Brooklyn is gonna be nasty next year if Ben is actually fully healthy and the "mental" stuff is gone.

Not buying any if it.
He just wants to secure the bag after 24-25.
He's the biggest risk in the NBA.

I don't trust it until I see it.

I'm intrigued if anything. I always liked Ben as a talent, and hope he's back. I think it would be good for the NBA adding another great talent back to the game, and of course the rivalry between him and Embiid would be entertaining I guess.

I actually was not a Ben Simmons fan before the whole flameout/injury/mental breakdown vs the Hawks.

But man am I rooting for the dude.
