I will say that Hawks needed a 3rd big man to defend in the paint and improve rebounding when Capela sits.

Bruno accomplishes both of these things.

So you think that Nando is going to get minutes... What about OO? What about JJ?

Jamaal I think that you are trying real hard to be positive in here

LOL Perhaps I am a little more optimistic about today's moves than most.

OO is clearly the primary backup.

But when we need a big body to fill in for 5-10 minutes due to injury or foul trouble, Fernando is a much better option than Kaminsky.

(I'm looking forward to Bruno going head to head with tough guys like Bobby Portis or Andre Drummond in the playoffs.)

Before the trades Hawks were $1.2 million under the tax. After all the trades Hawks are still under the Luxury tax by $2.2 million.
$1 million saved while giving up a plethora of 2nds.

This would have been better.

Shams Charania: The San Antonio Spurs are waiving center Dewayne Dedmon, freeing him to join another team, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

Hope they will at least use it to sign a player with buyout!

I miscalculated; it is $1.6 million under. We currently have 15 players so we will need to cut a player to sign a buyout player. Who from the buyout list interest you?

Even doing minor trade like they did, I was hoping we could get a big that can spread a bit the floor, but there won't be one.
Instead of that, they traded away Kaminsky (he's not great, but the offense was good when he was playing which just show that they need that).
So I would go with Terence Ross. I don't care if there will be a problem with sharing minutes, more shooters are needed, and as we are in the middle of the season, we don't how one player can adapt, so let's say it's not working with Bey, we would have another option.
At least, with less minutes, we have better chance starting the playoffs with an healthy team. We need to reduce Murray (and even Trae) playing time.

Since they continue with two Centers not spreading the floor, we need shooters, as many as possible
But like I already said, to get bought out players, it's better to be in the top4 of your conference than being 8th... always the same problem of a slow start
