Hawks are down to their 3rd String Center.

Team is again mired in trade rumors.

And this is the last game before the All Star Break -- against a bitter rival that always plays us tough.

I have...no idea what to expect tonight. :dontknow:

Starters: Young, Murray, Bey, Johnson, Fernando

Bench: Hunter, Bogdanovic, Bufkin, G. Mathews, Mills

Injured/Sick: Capela, Okongwu, Griffin, Gueye, W. Matthews

Ineligible to play: Forrest

G League: Lundy, Krejci

Trae and DJ had a two consecutive rough games.
Combined to shoot 19-58 (32.7%) from the field and 7-33 (21.2%) from 3 in the last two games and putrid defense.
I don't remember them both struggling for w straight games.

The break is coming at the perfect time.

I believe they have been impacted by the constant stream of rumors -- and the most recent one in particular about the team choosing between them.

They need a break from each other as much as anything.

I also think they've been playing too many minutes. Over the last 5 games they've each logged 2 40+ minute games, 38s and 36s with 4 of those games in 6 days including a back to back.
Quin's use of his rotations leaves a lot to be desired.
No reason for Kobe to be glued to the bench the last 2 games.
