I know that every time that we win by less than 20, it's essentially a loss. But the truth is that this was another good playoff win. Give credit to the cavs for stepping up. Their defensive intensity was tremendous.

Am I crazy though for thinking that we need to start giving Tillman some of Al's minutes? He's getting killed on switches. If we absolutely must have 5 shooters on the floor, why not just go small with Tatum at the 5?

Agreed, those turn around shots aren’t going down at all. Also JT has yet to make a three in the second half in these playoffs. Still waiting on him to be more consistent hitting threes, it’s nice to see him be aggressive and taking 25 shots as he should the last 2 games and drawing fouls.

Tillman probably would have hit 2-3 if he took 10 wide open threes. Cavs not paying any attention to Al in the perimeter, Mobley just crashes. They wouldn’t do anything different if Tillman’s in. Don’t think it would hurt giving Tillman 10ish minutes

Exactly.

Was a frustrating game at times but the Celtics have blown multiple games with similar situations multiple times this season so it was good that they took care of things in the end.

Plus Cleveland has also had some really weird results during this season when missing key pieces. It’s quite clear their healthy starting 5 don’t actually work well as a collective.

Heaps of read and react offence because opponents are so good at reading obvious play calls they’ve seen time and time in scouting videos.

It's CRAZY that **** like this happens. That ref should be disciplined severely. It really gives the impression of a referee trying to interfere with a crucial play. In no universe should this guy be on the court like that interfering with the action.

No thanks.

Not interested in finding out if Tilman can have a miraculous offensive performance.

Horford wasn’t making shots but he never makes the wrong play and he holds his own defensively despite what some on here say.

Horford deserves the minutes he gets.

The positive I can see from Horford in this game is he didn't hurt the Cs when he was not effective shooting the ball.

Al had no turnovers and 0 fouls in this game.

You can argue that with Al, you know he's not going to make stupid mistakes and commit silly fouls.

Joe and the Celtics deserve the benefit of the doubt on this one.

We can't pretend that we did not see this Celtics team lose to this Cavs team without Mitchell.
And KP played in that game and the Cs still lost.

Team offensive rating for the night was 119. For the series, 119.3. We are the third best offense in the playoffs behind the Pacers and the Wolves.

That went down to 100.0 during the 4th last night. That's also our offensive rating in the 4th for the playoffs, 15th among 16 teams, though I wouldn't read too much into this since most of our wins are blowouts.

Thank late game defense for last night's win.
