Not sure if it is green Kool aid, or if you are too casual or just clueless.. But you supported someone who was clearly clueless all season long.. And use the regular season argument as a basis that someone is a good coach..

Unbeatable Celtics looking human again.

They are a different team without KP. Still, i cant help but think we would walk all over them. Imagine playoff Dame and Khris but with Giannis in.

How can a professional NBA player shoot less than 80% in FTs, I don't understand. Laziness is the only explanation I can think of. Luka for example. Great talent, superb player, 75% at the line at most every single year. He must be lazy, what else? How can you not automate this? Perfect a routine by practice, repeat it every time.

The problem with o k c is.. Giddy is a good point guard at moving the ball around.But he is a horrific playoff shooter.. At some point, teams will stop covering him and load up on the others, especially SG.A..

so the actual coach of the year, Recognizes what I said and actually benched the all year long starter.. Giddy just cannot space the court.. So the coach of the year substitutes Isaiah Joe in.. That move may or may not work out but the fact that he had the balls to try it alone Has gained my respect..

Can someone send Joe this memo..

Someone must tell Joe to bench Giddey!

I like how the standard is "They look beatable" and that automatically means they'll get beaten. If you have to hope for the other team to look beatable, then you clearly lack confidence in your team's ability to beat them at their best. I'll put the C's up against anyone's best.

But getting to face easier competition is the privilege of higher seeds and the reason why teams compete in the regular season. I don't understand why the media and fans want to disrespect the Celtics and Tatum so eagerly.

If you're the #1 seed you usually get a super easy first round and typically a solid but non-contending team the second round. That's what the Celtics got. Maybe they end up with an easier ECF but that would be about the only change from a #1 seed's average playoff run.

That's the benefit you get from crushing everyone in the regular season. The other benefit is you get to rest guys for the last month of the regular season, which means you'll be healthier. All these other teams complaining about injuries should have just been better and secured their seeds earlier. Even then losing a all-star level center for what will probably be like 8 games in a playoff run is a big deal too!

the Celtics have looked about what you'd think they are without KP. Still very good, still the best team in the East, but with a few weaknesses becasue their starting center is out.

So ya, right there with you. It feels like the c's are the only team being graded on a curve. Like if they don't win by 20+ its a loss.
