JT said they must not be predictable.

Whether we like it or not, Celtics are predictable without KP.

This is happening less and less, compared to previous seasons, FWIW.

Tatum and Brown continue to come up small when it matters

This game made the top 10 worst offensive performances of the season by any team, scoring a putrid 82.2 pts per 100 possessions before garbage time, per CTG! Congrats to everybody involved!

Celtics are a one dimensional team without KP, it’s kind of a miracle they’re 10-3 without him.

I haven’t watched a lot of the Clippers recently but respect to their defense.

I think at this point, if we’re going to live and die on judging every game, it’s just not worth it. They just smoked the Heat and the whole board was puffing its chest. And so what if they’ve struggled against top west teams? We’d only play one in the finals and it’s going to be Denver, who we knew from the beginning is the defending champs.

I think the problem I had with this game is that they quit in the 3rd. Don’t quit on your home floor, it’s embarrassing.

The troubling part about this loss is that we got completely blown out. This is the second time we got blown out by one of the top teams. It happened with Milwaukee as well. I’ve ever seen a supposedly elite team get destroyed like this.

We just weren’t mentally prepared , I’m not sure if it’s because we got so snowed up for the Miami heat game which has more rivalry and stages to it than the clippers

Every team lays an egg once in awhile. Huge credit to Clippers and the great defense they played on a road back to back but it was obvious 4 minutes into the game it wasn’t the Celtics night. White and Horford may have had their worst games as a Celtic and Holiday and Brown were as bad as they can be too.

No!

OKC has yet to win anything.

SGA is legit.

But are you sure guys like Kiddey, Chet, and Ja. Williams will not be affected by playoff pressure?

It's very possible they could crumble. Likely, even.

Unfortunately, it's also somewhat possible that Chet is a significantly better player in June than he is today.

You asked why they matter. It's pretty **** obvious why they matter.

That doesn't make me LESS worried about shooting variance in the playoffs.

Logically speaking, there might be less variance when shooting at the rim and the FT line. But we are not a team that gets to the rim a ton (28th in frequency in FGAs within 3 ft of rim) and to the line (18th in FTr). The latter has improved from last season, thanks to KP.

Warriors won their titles despite not being rim- and FT-heavy. But then again, we're not the Warriors.

Our regular season team shot profile will probably get us bounced from the playoffs in round two/three. But if we're smart, we'll be taking different shots, including far more at the rim and FT line.

The only thing that stuck out to me last night wasn’t a surprise, because it’s why I worry about the clippers. With the exception of Tatum, nobody was able to beat any of the clippers defenders. The rest of the team depended on tough iso looks, or open C&S, which that part doesn’t worry me, because everyone besides Jaylen usually drills open threes.

They've been demonstrating incredible weakness when they go down. Like they really really can't fight back at all. We'll see but it's not a good sign when the team just decides to pack it in and give up when they're down.

Unfortunately true that they are banking a bit on a Mike Conley type run for him. Seems to be built like some of the guys with good longevity and he takes care of himself it seems but still.

Anyways where are the video clips of Jaylen trotting back in transition after turning it over?

Crazy talk. What a game in Miami that one was. We reeeeeally missed KP's gravity tonight. Not so worrysome, but not encouraging either. Brad keep taking notes and hopefully we take some lessons from this one.

We clearly need to work thru Kornet in the post when KP is out.
