Remember Bubble Gordon Hayward and how he was playing well before he sprained his ankle in the Sixers series? I think we're getting a better version of that in DWhite.

Bubble Gordo, per 100 possessions (7 games): 25.8 pts, 10.6 rebs, 5.3 asts, 0.6 stls, 0.4 blks, 48/33/88 splits
Bald Derrick, per 100 possessions (24 games): 24.8 pts, 6.0 rebs, 7.7 asts, 1.9 stls, 1.8 blks, 49/43/87 splits

Jrue would be Smart (who was awesome in the Raptors series) and KP would be Kemba but hopefully healthier and would give us a weapon we haven't had before. Horford even at his age is better than Theis. I'll take PP/Hauser/Kornet/Queta/Brissett over our 2020 scrubbies.

We're 1/3 into the season. Celtics have an elite two-way player as their (non-AllStar) 5th guy in his prime.

KD's scoring 30.9 and shooting 47% from the three. White is excellent and Jaylen has improved his decision-making but there's levels to this.

I 100% agree with you for once. There absolutely are levels.

There is the 21-6 level. And then there is the 14-14 level too.

He wasn't talking about past accomplishments, the Durant with 2 Rings was 4 years before the Brown and White trade was an option. He was talking about accomplishments post the availability.

I hope we can sign D white to a long term deal this summer. It’s going be at least $30 million a year, not sure how we can do it but they need to make it happen.

They'll have to re-sign Jrue first but I have no doubt that they'll get something done with him to keep him here as well. It will likely come at another player's expense (and I think we all know who that player is) if this all gets too costly for Wyc though.

They shoulda paid the man earlier in the year, well now they're gonna have to pay him a lot more if he manages to squeak into an all-star team.

sadly the All star game doesn't care about defense.. White's defense >>> all the rest of Eastern guards.
