This has been the offseason of 'we didn't like our guys.'

Obviously you should try to win every trade, but it’s refreshing to have Brad, who doesn’t care about gouging the other team, and just about making trades that make the team better.

Holy
Hurts to lose Rob but damn, we got Jrue. Jrue is a championship piece all the way.

Constable didn’t get his mancrush wish Grimes but will settle for Jrue.

I like Jrue a lot but this deal seems risky. I just wish they could have found a way to get it done while hanging onto RW. He’s injury prone but he’s a difference maker out there and Horford is on his last legs. And this team has no depth right now. A couple of lingering injuries to the starters can spell doom for this squad. Hopefully they find a way to address the bench but they don’t really have any wiggle room to get things done.

I audibly laughed my ass off over this one.
Brad is ruthless. I wish we could still have him as a coach but his personnel maneuvering has been a masterclass.
And STILL got invited to Smart's wedding.

Brogdon and Robert always hurt. Availability is the best ability.
Jrue is an absolute beast. Basically, upgraded on losing Mahhhcus Smahhhht.

The amount of games he missed, it might as well have been Robert was not even on the team.

Our main 8-man rotation in the 2022 Finals: Tatum, Brown, Smart, Horford, White, Timelord, Pritchard, Grant
Our main 8-man rotation in the 2024 Finals: Tatum, Brown, Holiday, Horford, White, Porzingis, Pritchard, one of Stevens/Brissett/Hauser/vet to be named later
I think we improved from that standpoint.

We still got a TPE and some unprotected firsts left. Don’t give up just yet.

Rob and Porzingis are too injury prone to ride with both of them all year and the playoffs. This was the right move.

Has there ever been a team with FOUR $30M+ guys on the same roster in the same season? (Supposed to be the Suns but they traded Ayton for depth)
Wyc is no longer **** around.

Every trade has a risk. I mean if they were to face Denver in the finals Time lord aint doing a damn thing to Jokic. Regardless you are correct. They are thin. Hidden in all of this is that Jrue is not improving any other East team..

Jrue had one of his best regular seasons in his career last year.
But in the playoffs, he had "Bledsoe-like" efficiency as the Bucks got upset by the Heat.
He's had big moments in the playoffs but also some low ones too.
Warriors fans were interested in trading for him but the only way to justify giving up assets was if they were going to extend him since he has a PO next July.
Warriors likely couldn't extend him so it would be difficult to give up a lot for a likely 1-year rental.
Celtics pretty much have to extend him next year?
Not concerned by those 5 games. Could have been a lot of factors as to why. He's going to make a huge difference for us in the playoffs.
