The Heat really sacrificed Kyle Lowry and sold their souls for this.

KP's prints were ALL over this game in the 1st half. Miami's zone is officially null and void to us now. We got EVERYTHING we wanted whenever we wanted and KP was a huge factor. He gets the VC.

Giving the CP to Kornet though for helping to settle things down in the 3rd when Miami tried to make it interesting after the Prozingis injury. Lead got down to 16 and then Kornet comes in and finishes off some feeds to get 8 points in a row and all the sudden, the game's over. Grabbed a few boards as well. Fantastic job by him tonight. Playing more and more confidently as the season goes on.

Heat retired a scrubs jersey and have been playing like scrubs ever since. Can't wait for the Michael Doleac jersey retirement

Jaylen threw what I genuinely think was his best pass of the season tonight, IMO. The contested lob to Kornet at the end of the third was an incredibly difficult pass lol.

Celtics have the best home record 20-1 in the NBA
Celtics have the best road record 15-9 in the NBA

I’m guessing that’s a good thing?

Not really sure why the Heat had a paragraph on their home floor dedicated to singing the praises of the Boston Celtics but in case you missed:

Heat were on a back to back so probably not at their best.

But….

Porzingis is a game changer against them as many have said since the start of the season. No more gimmicky defences we’ve seen for 3 ECFs against them where we haven’t had a big capable of just absolutely abusing their weak defenders.

Offensively Miami is going to continue to be a streaky team.

Still would prefer to avoid them in the playoffs but this is a different Celtics team in personnel to last season and if you don’t think Porzingis adds a completely different dimension then you haven’t been paying attention.

The concern will always be his health.

The Heat didn’t really have an answer for Tatum or Brown in this one. Hopefully with Porzingis out there we remember we can just find mismatches everywhere against Miami.

King Of The 4th wrote:VC to Brown, CP split between Jrue and Kornet. That stretch where Brown and Jrue settled the team down in the third and found Kornet for 8 straight points sealed the game.

Understated stretch right here. KP went down, Heat was warming up and then they ran four straight plays looking for & making easy buckets vs threes, meanwhile Miami was trying to hit desperation home runs on the other end.

They (and JB in particular) showed great poise, calmed down and played the right way. That looked like a championship team more than just relying on hot hands.

Over his last 9 games, Tatum has 10 turnovers and a 3.5 A/TO %.

He’s playing incredibly under control, cerebral ball. That bodes so damn well for the playoffs.

Team win, obviously. But the Heat seemed disinterested.

I presume by "%" you actually mean "ratio"?
