Didn't watch this game after New Orleans lead by 11 after Q1. Alternated between a movie and the Nets destruction of Utah by 33 due to one of their best shooting games ever. Amazing what a team can do if they are healthy, with everyone there, and they can't miss while getting 12 steals.
Anyway, ... surprised that Tatum brought his All-NBA game and Jaylen decided he needs to produce to beat out Brunson, Mitchell and Maxey for a spot on the All-Star Team. Holiday was apparently great in his 33 minutes, and I can see that Al played like a younger version of his self.
It's worth noting that the Celtics shot 43-85 (50.6%) overall while only shooting 17-46 (37%) from 3. Their 2 pt. % alone was 66.6%.
The Celtics also limited their turnovers to 11 and Fouls to 15, which was obviously a crucial reason why they pulled this one out in addition to outstanding overall Team Shooting.
An alternative view:
Pts + Rebounds + (0.5 x Assists) + Steals + (0.5 x Blocks) - Missed Field Goals - (0.5 x Missed Free Throws) - Turnovers - (0.5 x Fouls)
+29.5 Jayson Tatum 38 minutes despite 7 Turnovers
+27.5 Jalen Brown 37 minutes
+19 Jrue Holiday 33 minutes
+16 Al Horford 36 minutes
+11 Derrick White 35 minutes
+8.5 Sam Hauser 26 minutes
+3.5 Neemias Queata 10 minutes
+2.5 Oshae Brissett 11 minutes
+0.5 Payton Pritchard 14 minutes
Team Total = 118
