KP and Jrue were absolutely brutal. Team defense was also terrible. I’m still sticking with my 4-1 prediction but have you have to assume they’re hitting every 3 you don’t heavily contest

Probably one of the dumber losses I’ve ever seen.

It started in the first half with Porzingis being pathetically soft, unable to finish over or through dudes half his size.

Holiday was just as horrific with his dumb turnovers and lazy defence.

Then we proceed to just continually let them shoot 3s and they obliged and hit plenty.

Think the biggest indictment was a period in the last quarter where the game was still gettable and Jrue Holiday proceeded to not bother to contest two 3s in a row. One was against Highsmith who he didn’t even bother going near despite him shooting like 38% from 3 on the season. Just flat out pathetic defence.

I cannot understate how angry I am with Porzingis’ absolutely pathetic no showing.

I said Celtics in 5. This was the one game they get to make an ass of themselves. If they do it again then they aren't the team I thought they were. Going 6 or 7 against this team without butler would be a complete embarrassment.

Also, what a horrific game by KP. Worst game of the year in game 2 of the playoffs. Not a good look. Burn the f***** tape.

Tatum just isn't that guy. No shame as he is still a great player but you at least need a coach who will hold his feet to the fire like Ime to get the best out of him. Not some JV coach who is on the spectrum :lol:

Porzingis was a complete vag which isn't all that surprising. But Jrue is showing he is living off his rep. Dude sucks in the POs. White getting so few shots before the 4th quarter was criminal. Holiday is the one who should be standing in the corner iced out of the offense.

The C's are an uber-talented team without a true #1, mentally fragile, and a coach who can't make any in-game adjustments.

I was absolutely confident going into this series and now I wouldn’t be shocked if they beat us.

OKC motion offense would've been a good counter against what the Heat were doing. Or Heat offense would be a good counter to their defense today. We don't have that in the bag.

It cannot be stated enough how brutal Porzingis was.

What should Tatum do, to cut off the hands of the Miami players, so that they can't hit the three-pointer.

Heat did to us what we've been doing to most teams all regular season. 11 more made threes. 11 more 3-pt attempts. We got Mazzulla-balled. Our own medicine doesn't taste all that sweet. I don't understand complaining about chucking threes today when we didn't even take that many and the three-ball is what killed us.

Please have a counterpunch.

I’ve seen enough from JT. Today wasn’t his fault mostly but he just doesn’t have it. His jump shot has been mediocre all season. I have zero faith in him come 4th quarter. He was a better player the last 2 years compared to his year. No scoring explosion whatsoever from the #1 option.

This whole roster should be ashamed of themselves. They talk talk talk but they can’t back it up. If they can’t be ready for this game to start after what happened last season, how can anyone have confidence they can win it all?

KP was catastrophic bad, and as much as it pains me, White’s effort level defensively was atrocious. Holiday too. Mazzulla was….nightmarish lol.

Bring back offensive hierarchy.

Live and learn…hopefully. Got to close out aggressive on those threes. 23-53 is crazy. Can’t beat a team when they hit like that. Porzingas was neutralized. Hopefully that’s not a trend.
If he just made one of his 4 threes, and makes 2 more twos which would be a pedestrian 4-9 and 1-4 and we make a couple free throws…and the Heat only shoot 45% from 3 then it’s an easy win…coulda shoulda woulda. There is a lack of intensity that has to be addressed somehow.
