Trade Scal + Pruitt + 2nd Rounder for Jake Voskuhl ??

I have seen multiple sources indicate that the last year of Scal's deal ($3.4 million in 2009-2010) is NOT guaranteed. Can anyone confirm or deny this rumor that maybe only exists in my head?

That is just something peole hoped for and speculated after Scal signed the contract. But no reliable source has anything on this. They all have his last year as guaranteed.

Scala is better then Voskuhl by himself. Then you want to throw in Pruitt and a 2nd rounder? We should just sign 2 guys.

This seems very reactionary for a bump in the road in the middle of the season. Voskhul horrible, not worth a 2nd round pick, nevermind Pruitt or Scal. Danny's got a couple of roster openings, he'll bide his time for the right opportunity. Voskuhl is definitely not that opportunity.
