I just think there is more pressure on Boston.

They as a franchise, mortgaged the future for a chance to win now. Detroit gave up 2 picks for Sheed in 04 but beyond that they haven't traded away good young players or picks for a chance to win now. I think KG and Allen know this. They put all their eggs in this basket and if they don't get it done within this season or the next its over.

the pistons winning two in a row against us is just as unlikely as us winning in 5 or 6 games.

the probable result is a split in detroit. the pressure is equally on both teams. the series is tied 1-1. detroit loses home court if they dont win 2 games in a row against the c's.

it's totaly 50/50.

2 out of our big 3 need to play very well for us to win. 3 players in their starting 5 need to play very well for them to win. their bench is better. its really too close to call. this is why we waited all year for this matchup.

I'm sick of hearing about our road woes. I'd love to not only win it tonight but to do it by 20. If you're going to wish, wish big. :)

The Celtics can't win on the road in the playoffs.

...

The Celtics can't beat the NBA's golden child after being spent after a seven game series.

The Celtics can't win the Eastern Conference.

The Celtics can't gel a team together in one year.

The Celtics can't acquire one of the league's best players with the assets they have.

The Celtics can't come back down by 21 in the 4th.

The Celtics can't go 20 years without a championship after all their success

The Celtics can't win 16 championships.

Tonight the pressure is on Detroit to win. That way they hold home court. If they do win, the pressure shifts to Boston.
Boston will play very loose tonight, I think. Losing that game in Boston may have lit a fire. Let's hope so anyways.

The loss at home sucks badly, but:

- We were seven wins away from #17 before that game.
- We are still seven wins away from #17 after that game.

Now go get 'em wins!

The best thing to take out of last game was Ray Allen getting back on track.

We could surprise 'em tonight.

this announcer is annoying the hell out of me. The ABC guys called him "the only announcer who needs only one name... Mason", am I supposed to know who this guy is? like is he famous or something?

He made the Detroit Basketball famous back when the won the ship in 04.

The league had him do the all-star game in Vegas.
