How can you hate on Doc for that play? It got Rondo a wide open drive to the hoop. He just didn't finish.

rondo was fouled but i figured we could get something better than that.

rondo needs to dish and kick out with eddie and ray in the game. he's trying to do too much. what is he shooting in this game anyhow?

Yawn. The Hawks will get smoked in the 2nd half.

x 2000000000

in other news, the over/under on number of adjustments Doc will make in this series is 1. I took the over and i'm starting to sweat.

Yony Allen needs minutes IMO if we want to win. He is our vest wing defender and the Hawks are a team that is largely dependent on wing offense.

House should get a chance in the 2nd half as long as long as Doc can come up with a plan to deal with the press. Cassell over the past two seasons or so has been average (no better overall than House) and inconsistent. Plus he is one of the league's worst defenders. I can live with that from a back-up PG, but if his offensive game is not on target he is not a guy we want on the floor

This is not going well. I knew this was going to be a tough game. C's are getting killed in every aspect of the game again. I do not see them winning this game.

celtics need to take the emotion away from the hawks. They need to SSSLLLLOOOOWWWW the pace and take good shots. You can't run if you are taking the ball out if the hoop.

god it's bad enough that we have mike fratello as the announcer but now ai have to watch tbs halftime from atlanta. doc needs to play tony on johnson in the second half.

At the half, it looks like nothing has changed from Saturday...

We shot 44% on Saturday and are shooting 40% tonight.

The Hawks shot 47% on Saturday and are shooting 48% tonight.

Our bench was 4-12 from the field for 11 pts. in 72 minutes on Saturday. Tonight, our bench is 1-8 from the field for 3 pts. in 22 minutes.

Our problems....

1. We're not shooting well.

2. We're not playing good defense.

3. Our bench is giving us nothing.

Doc is just such a much better regular season coach than he is a playoff coach... I hope I'm wrong.

Our bigs aren't doing a good enough job showing on those pick and rolls.

The offense is running so poorly and slowly with Sam at point guard.

You guys are getting panicked about nothing. Hawks are a bunch of guys who run around and jump like crazy chickens. That's great in stretches, but it's only good for one game a series. Celtics will take back control here in the third..

Well you are correct. Doc has yet to coach a team out of the first round. I am not blaming Doc for this because the players are the ones losing this game by themselves.

Powe is athletically overmatched. Baby is a baby. T allen has been benched and house is psychologically under repair. Sam I am has lost his mind. our bench needs home cooking.

I know one thing; thank god I don't have to listen to Stockton, or I probably would've killed someone by now.

This is going to be a GREAT second half. The intensity is awesome.

this game is beung officiated horribly

aside from that

we are missing too many easy buckets, and too many freethrows and our interior defense needs to shape up and we need to get back in transition

Doc is not a good regular season coach either, IMO, if judged solely by in game substitutions. I know we didn't lose too many games this season, but of those we did lose, its how we lost at times that shed light on Doc's weaknesses.

since when does wide open=TWO guys blockin a shot against the glass?

we need house out there on the perimeter. give it to PP & KG & when the doubles come, have house & allen on the perimeter, isnt that what we did durin the regular season when we were the best team in the league?

i think its pathetic that house hasnt played at all. cassell is too old to run with the young hawks.

What Doc needs to remember is that Atlanta can get blow out just by his team shooting and making it's 3 pointers. Atlanta won't attempt enough and if they do they most likely won't make them. It sucks having to rely on Joe and Mike to knock them down.
