Kennard made 10 threes in under 24 minutes.

2017? Who is Sherman Douglas and how do I not know recognize that name? I bet you can go back to 2011 and I’d probably recognize all except that one, who have been a Celtics. I can’t believe I don’t know it and he dished all those assists.

Also, if he was passing out that many assists from the bench, what happened?

You don’t remember the General?

That date may be a typo?

Brain fart from Lipe probably. Sherman Douglas played for the Celtics from 1992 to 1995. Celtics didn't have a game in April 4, 2017. Douglas was the last Celtic to dish out at least 12 assists off the bench before PP but it was in December 30, 1994 against Detroit.

Funny, I don’t remember Sherm on that 2017 team.

Haha neither do I!! I said it before I read this!!

Definitely a typo. Sherm would have been 50 years old and we definitely would have all remembered that lol.

And almost half of them were not cashed in on?

How does that compare to normal actual/potential assist ratios?

About average. From a quick look at 20-30 ish players, 55% to 58% conversion rate seems to be pretty average to good. Low 50's is bad and 60+ very good.

Sounds like they need a true assist percentage related to where the teammate was on the floor when they shot, given 3pt shot percentage will be lower than one by the rim affecting the potential assist to assist ratio etc...unless of course they already have something like this...
