Tatum missed a bunch of open threes, but god damn did he control that game. He’s found the weak spots in that heat zone, and it almost always leads to a wide open shot for somebody.

49 attempts from 3. Happy with the w but this team still clearly dies by the 3 point shot. My goodness. 49 out of their 82 attempts. When those shots don’t fall they keep chucking it. This is what concerns me down the road.

Your man Delon Wright is the only reason we didn’t get to see the deep bench today.

Also I thought the Celtics did a phenomenal job on Bam. Guy made 10 shots and scored 24 points but every single shot was a contested mid range or post shot. He got nothing easy today.

Also Jrue completely eviscerated Herro today. Complete non factor from a former Celtic killer

Cause Mazzulla went experimental role and tried the double big lineup out there when we were up 30+

Celtics need to stop going double big whenever they are up big like the Cavs loss. Rotation isn’t there to defend the threes properly in time. Three point attempts should be an emphasis to eliminate when up that big. That’s the only chance they have to ever get back in the game and we gave up 7 threes in a row

Caleb was probably going after the rebound initially but as soon as he realized he had no chance at the ball, it was a clear hip check on an airborne player. Definitely NOT a basketball play. You don't turn your back away from the rim going after a rebound.

don't really need to argue this point because it's like I'm making excuses but the truth is this is about absurd expectations. We finished the season with one of the largest point differential in league history, which means we went up big and maintained that better than almost every other team in history! No one wants to see the Celtics stop giving max effort, but it's not realistic, if it was, how has it been so hard for the entire league in its history? Celtics were doing this when the league has been spamming threes that get you back in games easily! Teams get back into it because they hit 3s at crazy clips for a few minutes and then the game is close again, it's not rocket science.
