I agree, but the problem is that our bench isn't playoff ready.

I think the main problem is some of the Celtic fans want Joe and the Celtics to do it the fans way.

If Joe does not do this or if Tatum does not say this then that's not good enough.

For me, the results are more important.

Joe being unconventional and JT being different from the typical superstar is something we have to get used to.

Gotta hit the threes as well.

Can you explain your reasoning

He kicked the living **** out of Giannis in a Game 7.

That was pretty cool.

The 3s are not a problem because it's a numbers game.

But the defense becomes a problem when the Celtics become lazy and do not put the effort in.

We can still win without our 3s but it's going to have to come off the back of lockdown defense. When I say without 3s, I mean below our avg, not horrible like our losses.

True.

Even if the Cs shoot the 3s below average but the defense is good, Cs still win.

That's been proven in the regular season.

For my money, everyone's efficiency goes down a bit in the playoffs. You are only playing good teams. No Pistons or Hornets in there.

Basketball is about hard work and effort.

Guys like Ant Man and Team USA got beat in the FIBA World Cup by unknown players.

Even SGA and Canada got beat by a Serbian team without Jokic.

Cs are the most talented team in the NBA, but if they get lazy and don't put in the effort, any NBA team can beat them.

JT VC, JB CP, Jrue fantastic also…nice to see them execute well enough down the stretch and keep them at arms length.

On to next game.

Jrue was instrumental early, our most consistent if not best all around player in the first half.

Tatum was solid early and carried us in the third quarter, was particularly instrumental in our run at the start of the 3rd quarter.

I didn't think Jaylen played that great, yet he shot 13-17 and finished with a 28/9/3 line, and a team best +18.

No clue why Al played so many minutes. His effort was ok on defense...he just looked old. He was slow, he struggled to catch simple passes and rebounds at times, and his threes weren't close to going in. He was at least able to come up with five rebounds in the first half, but only two in the second. Trying to get 40 minutes out of him on a night like tonight is really pushing it, way better off going small, or otherwise Queta/Tillman.

I wasn’t able to watch the 2nd half. Based on the box scores, i think the Jays deserve the VC. Jrue played great, attacking inside and not settling too much. Watching the 1st half, Horf was being targetted on offense. Same problem he did against the warriors. He’s giving too much space. Anyways, i saw the effort on D from the start. They played physical in a way. Hope JT plays better from now onwards.

Love the way JT responded in this game. More of that please.

Also, I'm cutting Big Al some slack. He's old as hell.
