I think a big part of the issue is that there aren't enough rotations you can fit him into that play up to his skillset. We've got a ton of ball-handlers already between Jrue/White and the Jays, a lot of the time he's not needed to run the point. And then all those guys are scorers plus KP/Horford/Hauser, so there aren't many lineups where we need him as the microwave scorer off the bench. He's never going to be a plus on the boards or defensively either.

So if your'e not having him handle the ball more than bringing it up the court and/or putting him in situations to score, what's that leave for him to do? If he was shooting +40% from three it's a different story. Or if he had more success breaking down defenses off the dribble to create more for others, which he's hit and miss on. Otherwise it's hard for him to make a positive impact.

I'm struggling to see lineups where he's going to shine when we're fully healthy.

Yeah I think they like him as sort of a game manager type. I'm still torn what a better spot is to upgrade, the back up guard or the backup big. Starting to feel like it may even come down to playoff match up but it's not super obvious yet what the most difficult match up is yet.

JB keeps calling him White Chocolate, which is already taken. Why not P-Plain Vanilla? That hasn't been used before.

I got it! How about THE MILKMAN COMETH! Works too since milk is the official beverage of Oregon.

(I will stop at some point. We haven't reached that moment yet.)

Pritchard has been great recently and has completely turned his season around. He can't get to the rim and finish at all still but I think that can be improved over time.

I'm not sure there's going to be sell-high buyers. I don't think you're likely to trade him for a better payer nor a lottery pick. Might as well keep him at that stage.

PG is surprisingly deep in the league and Pritchard comes with obvious limitations. We can probably sell but you're not going to land a high price unless there's a team out there in contention that desperately needs help at the guard position.

I’m past my fascination with fake PP trades but I don’t think it’s that deep. Phoenix is running two shooting guards at the point, LAL needs help there, Miami and MIN are playoff teams starting 50 year olds. Pels, Jazz and Raps all are or were very recently looking for a real PG.

This is irrespective of PP but doesn’t seem super deep to me.
