Rebel Moon Part 2.....

Spoiler:
...... eeeesh.

It was borderline unwatchable for me. The script, acting and dialogue are all ordinary, with pretty much no originality, nuance or depth. It is basically The Magnificent Seven set on a different planet, with a little bit of Star Wars thrown in (though much less compared to Part One).

I didn't feel like Part One was this bad, but I probably shouldn't have been surprised with this one as I find Zack Snyder as a director is just not for me (even though I didn't mind Part One). He just seems to do the same things in every movie and I find it noticeable and distracting (as usual it felt like 50% of the movie was in unnecessary slow motion).

It will be interesting to see if Netflix let him make any more of them.

Totally agree. I thought the 1st one was embarrassingly unoriginal but once I got over that it was a pretty entertaining movie. The 2nd one is just terrible all around. I was looking forward to it and ended up fast forwarding just so it would end.

Underrated HBO show with a rare perfect finale. But not really something you’d want on your re-watch docket. Watching it once is enough, if that makes sense.

Props to you guys. I couldn't get thru the first one. I did 2 separate viewings and got maybe an hour+ in total? I never officially said "screw this", but also never went back. Just too much other stuff to watch.

Honest opinion:

I don't understand how americans, japanese and koreans like so much Baseball. I tried to like it, tried to watch it, but damn it is boring... Couldn't find a single game I would have fun watching it. Tried with the Red Sox, tried with the Marlins, Astros, Dodgers, Mets, but yeah, it's just not for me.

If you're looking for something exceptionally weird, uncomfortable and even traumatic, but ultimately fascinating and quite special, I can recommend Baby Reindeer on Netflix. If not probably don't watch it lol.

My fiancé watched it and I background watched about half of it. Very weird and uncomfortable but couldn’t help but have it keep my attention as well.

If you like horror, season 2 of Them on Amazon is really good. I liked it quite a bit more than season 1. (Which, you can skip season 1 and just watch season 2 if you want.) Well written and very well acted and legit creepy/scary.

Generative AI can do some pretty cool shiz. I would gladly watch everyone of these movies if they actually made them.
