I like Kornet and will be sorry to see him go. Having said that, Cody Zeller was just waived by the Jazz and Zeller would be a clear upgrade.

Kornet was running with the starting unit to open training camp - before rolling his ankle.

I never said everything stops. Simply stating my opinion that going from Zeller to Kornet is not a "clear upgrade" as another poster said.

If that was the criteria used by GM's, then how the heck is Dwight Howard still a free agent?

Zeller and Kornet were both free agents this offseason. Brad chose to sign Kornet instead. Brad then signed Vonleh, Caboclo and Kabengele instead of Zeller. Then waived Caboclo and signed Samanic - instead of Zeller.

Jackson played some for the Celtics last year and was here all preseason. Jackson knows all the plays, schemes and everything.

$15 million? What are you talking about? Zeller was worth $15 mil this offseason, yet the only deal he could get was a training camp deal with the Jazz? Only to be waived by the Jazz..
