Now I think he has made a good step forward. I have been impressed with him as a third big. I still want to add Queta, but as our 4th big, to go against the bigger 5's in the league.

He's done as much as we could fairly expect, I think.
I agree we need another big, preferably strong-bodied and defensively focused, on the active roster (whether it's a 4 or a 5, I'm not sure)

Haven't seen enough of Queta to know if it's him, but someone like that makes sense, I think.

I think we should just be glad we have both Kornet AND Queta to fill in the regular season minutes admirably when called upon. I don’t think either guy sees more than 100 minutes total in the playoffs unless we lose Porzingis/Horford for a game or two.

Porzingis: 36 minutes
Horford: 28 minutes
Tatum: 32 minutes at PF

No B2Bs. No injury management.

Good vibes go a long way during the grind of an NBA season.

“Luke is the ultimate teammate,” said Brown of Kornet. “(He’s) just a great locker room guy, gets along with everybody. He’s funny, so he uplifts everybody, even in moments where we don’t want to laugh.”

“On the court, he’s just old reliable, is always in the right spot, does his job, screens, rolls, plays hard, gets those offensive rebounds, and steps up in games like today.”

Luke no longer looking like just salary filler. He's got at least a little trade value now, and more polished than Queta (who I really like, but worry would foul out in 6 minutes in the playoffs).

Luke Kornet for the All-Star game!

Might as well just send the whole Celtics team there.

That's why you keep both especially with Porzingis and Horford in front of them.

Feels like Kornet has been stepping up being more aggressive ever since Queta has been getting minutes. Good to see

Luke Kornet is having his best season in PER (20.5), TS% (.738), FG% (.706) and ~ice in his veins~ FT% (.889).

He has really been very good this year. Impacting the game in a positive manner. I don’t think we need another big with him and Queta.

He is solid big man depth. Kind of guy every championship contender needs/has on its bench. Would I love a vet big man to add as well (think PJ Brown in 2008), sure—and Boston seems like a good destination for a bought out vet looking for a chance to win a ring. But Kornett has a role and can give you 8 minutes a game in the playoffs if necessary.

Honestly don't see how any Celtics fan can have a problem with the contributions that Luke Kornet has made this year to the Celtics team.

I'll be curious to see if he ever can (is allowed) to shoot from the outside. He started with the Knicks shooting 3-4:three pointers a game. Then he regressed to the point that he stopped shooting. The man clearly can shoot, but is left alone even at 15 feet.

He's a Career 32%-3pt shooter. That's probably a bit low for the Celtics?
But, he's had some Wide Open (with time to do your taxes) Shots.

We gonna put him on another 3 year minimum contract then let him unleash his 3-point stroke.

It's possible in practice he has more freedom and misses. I'm not advocating his shooting being a part of the offense, but rather to he able to take a shot when he isn't being guarded.
