He's going to need to learn the Aztec Two-Step when teams switch and pull him out to the perimeter. That's one area I'm sure they will be working with him on up in Maine.
Hey you! Can we come together?

I always end up with irrational hype for these signings at this time of year.

Man Mark Deeks I remember really enjoying reading that guy's blog way back in the day. Hadn't seen that name in awhile.

rightfully so! Years from now, we'll look back at this signing, and remember it as the time the Boston Celtics signed Neeimas Queta to a two-way deal.

They'll love him in Portland.

I'd rather Queta than Lillard.

I'd like to see more of this Guy. Seems like he needs to stay on that Two-Way, though.
He gets too many Fouls, but otherwise plays really well.

If he can rebound better than Kornet there’s a real opportunity for him here.

With all the hype around needing a solid backup big this guy looks promising and much less of a stiff than Kornet. Not sure how teachable it is to stop fouling...

Pre and post signing the foul magnet thing is the big downside of Queesy, but does it really matter? If he were in the Kornet role, playing say 15 minutes a game, how many more fouls would he have than a typical bench big guy?... 0.5? Think the added value of his rebounding and blocks likely offsets a little extra fouling.

Still need to see a lot more on Queta. His posts moves when he get it is always fake left go right. definitely has better feet than Kornet. Is he a strong rebounder in traffic? - still waiting to see. He doesn't look NBA small like kabin-jelly did last year..

Poor foul efficiency (relative to activity) portends negative things about a player's defensive potential, if it doesn't say something negative about IQ/instincts/fundamentals, it says something about their quickness/athleticism.

But if we're not counting on the guy to give us more than 20 mins per game, it's not like we have to worry about him fouling out.

His steal/block/foul numbers in college, were perfectly comparable to Erick Dampier, btw.

Very slow and foul prone doesn't exactly scream out Playoff Big...

Being a Two-Way, he can only play in 50 Games anyway. No Playoffs.
