Probably last team to do it were the Bucks from 1970-1972.

Hell no. Either let the Sixers win and another team like the Bulls take out the Heat or hopefully Miami just beats Philly. As much as I would love to see the Heat get taken out before the real playoffs begin, I'm going to guess that they'll tank vs Philly so they can draw Boston in round 1. Thats not a good matchup for the Celtics at all.

Philly can't beat Boston in big games. We know this and shouldn't pay them any mind. Miami can and has.

Nobody is going to tank a play-in game man. I get not wanting to play the heat but I still think the sixers with a healthy Embiid is the better team and bigger threat. Whatever happened in the past has little to no relevance for this year with this current Celtics team.

Give me the Heat over the Sixers. We get revenge and IMO, avoid the better team.

They literally did exactly that last year.

They tried to win, and lost. They almost lost the second one too.

Bring on the Heat. Our team is a ton better than last years’ team. We should be able to beat them. Let’s see how the Jays, especially JT performs this playoffs, especially with how it ended last season. No excuses this time.

If it's Miami, the Cs will sweep them.

We'll play someone not named the Sixers in the first round and we'll blow their goddamn doors off.

Yep, that's what I think, too.
Good assessment:

Last year was a fluke.

Miami got hot and Boston went cold.

Not this time around.

Also Porzingis takes away Miami's Bam advantage.

And Cs are now better against the Zone D.

They better catch a quick flight up to Maine, afterwards.

At least this year they don’t look like they’ve never played basketball when they play against a zone

Absolutely not. I'm really really hoping for Miami. These are two totally different teams and we owe them one
