Need a Sixers win vs Miami. Winning 64 games just to get Sixers with Embiid in the first round is brutal. Not that I think we can’t beat them but its an unnecessarily tough matchup for the 1st round

Cavs pissed down their leg at the thought of Miami or Philly in the first round. Hope the Magic take them out.

Celtics bench net rating of 6.2 is highest net rating in NBA play-by-play era (since 1996-97). Previous high was 5.8 (CHI 2012, SAS 2016).

I really appreciate how pretty much every "best teams" list always has that one team that was amazing but failed to get it done in the end. Obviously that KD warriors team is the quintessential example of it, but even here you see it.

Pritchard has been insane lately. Beyond the last 2 games, he’s just playing with more speed and force over the last few months. And actually looking to score on drives. Can’t believe idiots like djFan wanted to trade him, lol.

He found his mid-range game this season. Opens up a lot for him.

That and finishing thru dudes at the rim. Now they actually have to respect his drive instead of just waiting for him to drive back out again like he used to.

To be fair that '73 team probably wins the title if Havlicek doesn't dislocate his shoulder in the ECF (also worth noting they came back and won the title in '74 and '76).

Hell no. Either let the Sixers win and another team like the Bulls take out the Heat or hopefully Miami just beats Philly. As much as I would love to see the Heat get taken out before the real playoffs begin, I'm going to guess that they'll tank vs Philly so they can draw Boston in round 1. Thats not a good matchup for the Celtics at all.

Philly can't beat Boston in big games. We know this and shouldn't pay them any mind. Miami can and has.

Nobody is going to tank a play-in game man. I get not wanting to play the heat but I still think the sixers with a healthy Embiid is the better team and bigger threat. Whatever happened in the past has little to no relevance for this year with this current Celtics team.

Give me the Heat over the Sixers. We get revenge and IMO, avoid the better team.
