We've been the one-seed for 3 weeks and we won't know who our R1 opponent is until 1 or 2 days before G1. That ain't right.

Yeah it's wack. Team with best record gets least time to prepare for 1st round matchup.

We really need the Bucks to win in their last game.

Why?

If Bucks lose they slide to the 4 seed.

And?

With a gimpy Giannis and doc rivers coaching, they very well could be a first round out. Hell, they could be a first round out even with Giannis healthy

here's an easy to read playoff chart heading into the last day. The only game in the East where both teams probably have an incentive to win is Orlando/Milwaukee. Barring a weird upset, all other scenarios branch out from the result of that one.

I prefer Orlando or Cleveland in the 2nd rnd.

Just to be safe.

But I also believe the Cs will beat the Bucks if they meet.

True, but on the flipside they get a team that didn't have a chance to rest.

I think it's so everyone is on equal footing for the final day and no one is coming off a back to back.

And all the games tomorrow are at the same time so teams can't scoreboard watch and try to rig favorable seeding outcomes based on what happened in other games. (If I'm remembering right it appeared teams like DAL and MIL tanked their finales last couple seasons.) East all plays at 1pm tomorrow and West all plays at 3:30.

Yea, I'd rather have them early than late IMO.
More chance we're healthier and bigger chance Giannis aint up to it yet.

I agree. I’m hoping the heat or sixers can move to 6th, and orlando moves to 7th.

My larger point was, I don’t really care who we face in the east in any round. We should beat any eastern conference team in 5 games tops

You are correct, Cs can beat any east team 5 games tops.

But getting the easiest path available is ideal.

Mavs are resting everyone vs OKC today. Thunder have an excellent chance to be the #1 seed in West.

It’s all the same to me. There is no easiest nor ideal path.

Jonathan Isaac was my second favorite player after Tatum in the 2017 draft. He is a solid player if he can stay injury free.

He leads active players in most games without a playoff appearance. Could still happen if Sixers lose twice lol.
