If Indy wins their last game then Cs will have easiest path to east finals.

It's a different story if Indy loses their final game.

2,3,4,5,6,7,8 ALL IN PLAY SIMULTANEOUSLY

Yeah, just checked and Bucks and Cavs are tied in their season series.

Looks like it's going to go to another kind of tie breaker.

Just checked again and it looks like the Cavs have the tie breaker over the Bucks.

We really need the Bucks to win in their last game.

Root for the Celtics. Problem solved.

I think the Bucks will drop to 4th if they lose their last game and NY and Cleveland win theirs. Cleveland would win the tiebreaker with them by virtue of having a better within division record (I think).

True.

We really need a Bucks win.

It's because I root for the Celtics that I'm rooting for their easiest path to banner 18.

Root for the Bucks on the last day of the season.

If Bucks hold on to the #2 seed then the Cs will get the easiest path.

I want:

Bucks & Knicks to W on Sun to finish #2-#3, respectively, w Cavs #4 & therefore a R2 option.
Pacers & Sixers to W on Sun to finish #5-#6, respectively, w Pacers #5 & therefore a R2 option.
Then Magic (losing to Bucks) & Heat will be #7-#8 in whatever order - then Heat beat the Magic in the PI & become #7, & we play the winner of the Magic vs the Bulls/Hawks in R1.

In summary:
R1 Magic or Bulls or Hawks!
R2 Cavs or Pacers!
ECF WHO THE **** EVER - Sixers or Bucks or Knicks!

Zoya - Makes sense?

PS I wish I had confidence in this team no matter what path we get. As most people know, I have no confidence in low BBIQ TOV MACHINE #7, I think Bubbles is an idiot, & our MVP doesn’t have ENUF DAWG too often. Gotta hope for the all around excellent play Al, Zinger, Jrue & Derrick have given us all year resulting in most likely 64 W. Gotta hope Pritch & Sam make the most of the minutes they get.

So.. The Nuggets blew a 23 point lead at San Antonio to lose by one. In a game the Spurs did not have Vassell, Sochan or Keldon Johnson. They lost the 1st seed, probably dropping to 2 or more likely the 3 seed.

Imagine if the Celtics did that lol we wouldn’t hear the end of it

Memphis always seems to nail their draft picks, dammit. GG Jackson was picked with the 45th pick last year and he's already had three 30 point games. I like Walsh as well as the next guy, but I have to say, Jackson looks better.

Could be a Vince Carter-Paul Pierce situation.

Early in their careers, VC was looking way better than Pierce.

But Pierce eventually became the better player as the years went by.

Walsh still needs 15 pounds of muscle.

Based on the tweet above, this looks like the ideal scenario -- every home team wins except ORL .

Image

Or getting Pacers for R1 but potential R2 matchup with Sixers.

EDIT: Bucks most likely shutting it down so they fall to 3rd or 4th and avoid Heat/Sixers.

If Bucks lose they slide to the 4 seed.

Here's a roundup of where things stand and what's at stake Sunday. Because I am either an AI robot or paid millions of dollars by RGM to do this on the GB every morning. You decide.

- West 1 Seed: The Thunder (vs. Mavs), Wolves (vs. Suns) and Nuggets (at Memphis) finally settle their months-long battle for the top of the West
- East 2 Seed: The Bucks and Knicks are tied (Bucks own tiebreaker) so New York needs to win (vs. Bulls, ESPN) and Milwaukee to lose (at Magic) to move up
- West 6 Seed: The Suns need a win (at Wolves) and a Pelicans loss (vs. Lakers, ESPN) to claim the final guaranteed playoff spot via tiebreaker over NOLA
- East 5-6 Seeds: The Magic (vs. Bucks), Pacers (vs. Hawks), Sixers (vs. Nets) and Heat (vs. Raptors) all have a shot at securing one of the final two guaranteed playoff spots in the East
- West 8 Seed: The Lakers control their own destiny as a win (at Pelicans) clinches No. 8. A loss opens the door for the Kings (vs. Blazers) and Warriors (vs. Jazz)

Western Conference update:
⬆️ Oklahoma City: Rises from 3rd to 1st via tiebreakers over (2) Minnesota and (3) Denver
↔️ Minnesota: Remains 2nd via tiebreakers with (1) OKC and (3) Denver
⬇️ Denver: Drops from 1st to 3rd via tiebreakers against (1) OKC and (2) Minnesota
↔️ LA Clippers: Locked into 4th with Mavs’ loss, one game up on (5) Dallas with Clippers holding tiebreaker
↔️ Dallas: Locked into 5th with loss, one game up on (6) New Orleans with Mavs holding tiebreaker

↔️ Phoenix: Remains 7th, one game back of (6) New Orleans
⬆️ L.A. Lakers: Rise from 10th to 8th, one game up on both (9) Sacramento and (10) Golden State
⬇️ Sacramento: Drops from 8th to 9th, holding tiebreaker over (10) Golden State, one game back of (8) Lakers
⬇️ Golden State: Drops from 9th to 10th via tiebreaker to Sacramento, one game back of (8) Lakers

Eastern Conference update:
↔️ Milwaukee: Remains 2nd via tiebreaker over (3) New York, both one game up on (4) Cleveland
↔️ New York: Remains 3rd via tiebreaker to (2) Milwaukee, both one game up on (4) Cleveland
☑️ ↔️ Cleveland: Remains 4th while clinching playoff berth, one game back of (3) NY and (2) Milwaukee
↔️ Orlando: Remains 5th via tiebreakers over (6) Indiana and (7) Philadelphia, one game up on (8) Miami
↔️ Indiana: Remains 6th via tiebreakers with (5) Orlando and (7) Philadelphia, one game up on (8) Miami
↔️ Philadelphia: Remains 7th via tiebreakers with (5) Orlando and (6) Indiana, one game up on (8) Miami
↔️ Miami: Remains 8th, one game back of (5) Orlando, (6) Indiana and (7) Philly
↔️ Boston (1), Chicago (9) and Atlanta (10): All were previously locked in their seeds

Standings entering Sunday:

Image

Only 5 of the 20 seeds are locked in!

- 3-way tie record-wise for top seed in West
- NOP & PHX each seek 6th spot

We've been the one-seed for 3 weeks and we won't know who our R1 opponent is until 1 or 2 days before G1. That ain't right.
