Holy crap you guys that was exceptionally unpleasant! Major yikes lmao.

The C's basically spent the 1st quarter bouncing the ball off their faces and into the wrong team's hands. Messed around and got burned. They played a little better after that, but by then the Lakers were full of confidence and their normally poor shooters were raining 3's on our head all night. Celts never got going as a team and came away with a ridiculous loss.

The Celtics lost this game in the first 3 minutes. Early Turnovers by Porzingis, Brown, White and Holiday literally showed they were not paying attention to detail and their sloppy passes gave up scoring opportunities and allowed the Lakers to get their confidence and heads into the game. Instead of killing the Head of the snake they invigorated the Lakers.

Lakers only committed 7 Turnovers to the Celtics 15.

Then, too many sloppy offensive sets without a coherent attack. Not enough drives, not enough USEFUL Picks (25 feet from the basket might get you a 3 or a 22 footer inside the line). This team doesn't have a decent pick setter in the starting lineup.

Lakers outshot the Celtics 52.8% from 3 vs. 33.3% for the Celts. Not enough plays to get better looks and better attacks.

I don't think Joey prepared these guys. When they're not nailing 3's, the offense just stagnates.

Someone will probably whine about the Free Throw disparity (26 for the Lakers vs. 7 for the Celtics), but the NBA has been carrying the Lakers for years with favorable refereeing. The Celts still could have won this game. They didn't pay attention to detail, and they didn't have a cohesive plan of attack. Not happy with General Joe's Battle Plan (or maybe Joe didn't prepare one).

Getting the same vibes like after that loss to a ragtag version of the Wolves a couple years ago. The next team on the schedule is also shorthanded. Not good.

They've played 3 straight terrible games (outside of the Pacers first half) and it finally burned them.

This team deserves this, they have such a high margin of error and still lost. They keep testing that margin error for no reason

Tatum was one of the only guys who played hard all game, he just missed his shots at the rim, which hasn’t been a problem all season. He went 5-10 from three, is shooting like 37% from deep for the season lol.

This team hasn’t been fun to watch for a few weeks now. Despite what I said about the second half of the Pels game.

We have nothing outside of the three ball and it looks like the coach isn’t interested in implementing a game plan to make us less reliant on it.

Again, 8 points from JB is inexcusable. He’s been horrible for a while and lucky to have been selected an All Star.

You give a sh it team a lot of confidence and they will play like superstars. They came out like they didn't want to be there with stupid lazy passes that were easily intercepted each time. I still maintain this is a coaching issue. Joe should have called a time out right away and gave an ultimatum. Do you want to play with energy or do you want to sit on the bench for the rest of the night.

I find it funny when posters try to blame the role players like Porzingis, White and Jrue. This is 100% on Tatum and Brown. They are the stars. They set the tempo and lead or fail to lead in this case. They have the ball in their hands most of the time so they need to play with energy and focus.

The role players all struggled but I thought Brown looked similar to game 7 of the ECF. His game just unravels if he can't get it going shooting. He needs to find other ways to contribute when his shot isn't falling. I give Mazzulla huge kudos for pulling Brown late in the game. Probably more impressed with that than anything else he has done up to this point

Big ups to Hauser and Queta who played with energy and focus though.
