I'm guessing the Blake ship has sailed. We already brought on Tillman (and there's still the Queta possibility). Plus, the guy hasn't played in a looong time. I just don't see it.

You're probably right. I think it would have to be partially for sentimental reasons and partially to have that extra vet presence in the playoffs (over Queta), even if mainly from the bench. The latter reason I can see, but Brad doesn't seem to be a very sentimental GM.
And Blake will have needed to be working regularly on his body and game, else he'd likely just end up being injured or unplayable.
In other words, if they planned this out last summer, it could actually work.
Hey you! Can we come together?

Take Horford out and that rotation at the 5 is pretty vulnerable. The Celtics do need another center, particularly a powerful mobile big man with some height.
It's the 14th spot on the roster (Svi is 15th for future flexibility). With CBA restrictions they won't find anyone better than Queta. They don't have to sign him immediately, but they probably will at some point. Queta impacts the game and almost surely is not done growing as a player. He has a fairly soft touch which has been more evident in G league games, so it wouldn't be a surprise for him to extend his offensive package.
It's not a signing for now, it's a signing for Horford insurance a little ways down the road.
Agree with most of this but Tillman has better size than you are giving him credit for. An inch shorter than Horford, but 2 inches longer wingspan and similar standing reach.

I would just as soon convert Quetta. He is too good for g league and he is better than anyone else out there that Boston can acquire.
I figure that Celtics are waiting to see if any buyouts by Thursday. If not? They will convert Quetta.

Convert Queta, and sign Joe Wieskamp to a Two-Way.

Delon Wright had a nice debut for the Heat 35 miniutes, 13 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, +9 on 3 for 5 shooting. Player that I and many others had on the buyout radar. Celtics just couldn't offer the minutes. Nice pickup.

They've got the perfect intersection - great location for NBA guys, good team, but still full of enough holes that some random half-decent player can roll in and start.
Like Kevin Love last year.

Dude was picked 4 spots ahead of Tyrese Maxey. Not one of Presti's best moments, but at the time Poku was seen as high potential. He could still end up a decent find. Nice get for Hornets as they rebuild a roster.
Hey you! Can we come together?

Unconfirmed rumor: Mike Muscala formalizing buyout with Pistons.

Yes please, I then want a lineup of Tillman/Muscala/Porzingis/Horford/Kornet

I’d take Muscala for sure if he’s willing.

Musca back would be nice, but suspect he will go to a team/contender likely to give him more minutes aka Bucks, Cavs or Heat.

If he takes the final roster spot over Queta, I'd rather have Muscala getting minutes than Kornet, if only due to the extra shooting.
Porzingis, Horford, Tillman, and Muscala gives the team overall decent shooting at the center position.

Kornet has actually (to my surprise) really earned and deserved his minutes this season
Feel like it wouldn't be the best thing for the culture and morale amongst the playing group if we discarded Kornet for really only a minor upgrade in Muscula.
He does seem very popular amongst the playing group. Very loathe to do any moves that upsets our team chemistry.
