This is the updated list of available players who could sign with a team and be eligible for that team's playoff roster:

Patty Mills
Danuel House Jr
Ish Smith
Chimezie Metu
Furkan Korkmaz
Cory Joseph
Victor Oladipo
Killian Hayes
Kevin Knox
Jaylen Nowell
Terence Davis
Danny Green
Austin Rivers
Javonte Green
Blake Griffin
Frank Ntilikina
James Bouknight
Kai Jones
Joe Harris (can't sign with a 2nd apron team)
Marcus Morris (can't sign with a 2nd apron team)

So it's either sign 1 of these guys, leave the 15th roster spot open, convert 1 of our 2-way guys (Queta, Peterson, JD) or sign some under the radar guy out of the G league to see if he might develop into something for next year.. or perhaps is trade filler over the summer.

Either way, whatever we do with the 15th roster spot will likely not have much impact (if any) on our title chances..

Solid older vet option: #1 Mills

Bring the band back together option: Griffin or Mills

You can never have enough wings option: House Jr

    Lottery bust reclamation project: Hayes

Athletic head case reclamation project: Jones

I'd just sign Mills asap or bring up Queta before it's too late.

My dark horse pick is Kai Jones. That guy is a freak of nature. But, too risky for this team now. I hope someone gives him chance and he starts to get it.

If Cs wanted to convert Queta and sign another two-way, today’s the last day to do that too.

We’re set with our bigs. I doubt they convert Queta now.

Yep. I'm hoping that they do both things by the Deadline. I think that it's midnight?
Convert Queta, and Sign another player to a Two-Way.

Gimme a vet PG to sit there and do nothing but collect a ring. Mills, Joseph, Ish. Probably in that order. Adjust due to wash level as necessary.

Again, NOT saying the Celtics should sign this guy, but look at what the NBA is missing out on. He would have made the dunk contest worth watching, to say the least.

Now if Queta gets the 15th spot, I'd take a chance with him up in Maine. He's a top tier athlete, it would be a shame for him not to reach his potential if he can get help from the league.

Kai Jones was a draft binky of mine but when the Hornets walk away from you that is a significant red flag.

If Victor Oladipo can walk (don't know if he can) at this point I would take a chance on him. Vet who isn't afraid of the moment, won't be looking for big minutes and plays D. I just don't know if he is healthy enough to play.

Whats wrong with a vet guard as your 15th man. What else could be useful?

Another big.
An investment in future seasons.

So you mean Queta? So you mean we should invest in the future now while we’re favorites to win it all? I couldnt care less about Queta in the future if we win #18 now and we can even still sign him in the offseason if he doesnt get a bigger offer offcourse but then you say good luck have fun.

Another big behind KP Al Kornet Tilman? What do you do if White/Jrue is out? Give Pritch 25-30 and go from there? I’m not saying Patty Mills is a rotation player but Queta aint that either so I rather have some championship pedigree on thus fairly young team than a maybe better move “for the future”.

We haven't had a green haired guy for a little while now. For 3 squares a day and some playing time in Maine he might oblige.

What the heck, it looks like nothing happening on the free agent front, so I'll stick with my latest micro-obsession, Kai Jones, and post a video of a guy I really liked watching play for GSW (back in the day) that he reminds me of: Carlos Rogers.

Yep. If two perimeter starters are out, play more double big, just as we have all season.

Tatum is a fine offensive PG, by the way, and Brown a fine defensive one.

Wow, Mills to Miami.

Brad apparently hates signing buyout vets as much as he hates using 1st round picks lol.

This year's buyout vet signings:
Patty Mills - Heat
Thaddeus Young - Suns
Danilo Gallinari - Bucks
Delon Wright - Heat
Spencer Dinwiddie - Lakers
Kyle Lowry - Sixers
Mike Muscala - Thunder
TJ Warren - T-wolves
Shake Milton - Knicks

The guys Brad signed to an end of the bench roster spot (or converted from a 2-way) after the trade deadline so far during his tenure as POBO:
Nik Stauskus
Sam Hauser
Luke Kornet
Justin Champagnie
Malik Fitts
Juwan Morgan

At this point I'm assuming that 1 of our 2-way guys is getting converted..or we're gonna sign some guy out of the G league..and whoever it is will not play at all unless it's garbage time..and will then either get traded this summer, get waived this summer or possibly make the team next year and try to compete for some mins then (that's what happened for Stauskus, Hauser, Kornet, Fitts, Morgan and Champagnie)

I won’t! Maybe to u it’s unhealthy! Don’t get triggered :D

It's time to dust off your available FA list, Hal.

After the last few guys went, there's really not much left that I'm interested in. Pat really laid out the Miami to Cancun vacation package for Delon and Patty I guess.

Is Austin Rivers still on the phone with Brad?

Convert Queta, Davison or Walsh and let's do this thing.

I wanted Corey Joseph (and other things) over Kemba that one year. So, I'll just stick with that now.
He or Wenyen basically guarantee a title.

Who knows?

Maybe Brad Stevens is trying to coax Reggie Miller out of retirement.
