Now let's see if the Porter rumor has legs. He could move into Brissett's spot simply on account of the shooting.... If he's healthy.

If not, I'm fine with Queta.

Wow didn’t even realize we cashed another thread.

At any rate, I retract my prior statement about this being a slow buyout year. Forgot about a few guys, Dinwiddie I think is a good pick up, Lowry and Young are kind of classic buy out guys at this point.

Not sure what’s up with him, but sure seems like JaMychal Green should be on a roster somewhere.

Austin Rivers played good defense against the Warriors last year
I would throw the dice with Killian Hayes. Maybe we can sort the marbles in his head. He had potential to be good

Ish Smith or Patty Mills...they both hit shots vs The C's....why not?

Brad is set. Might as well have started a Who's on the Duck Boats Thread.

So OPJ didn't get bought out?

If not, my vote is probably for Patty. Gives us another shooter, some Pritchard insurance..some back court depth..and championship experience. Plus, he's already got some on court and off court chemistry with D-white.

Seems like patty is a great teammate/locker room kind of guy too.

Either Patty, House Jr or convert Queta..all seem like solid options..

Shake Milton would be fine as a 15th man. Not expecting it though

I've heard nothing but great things about Mills as a teammate over the years. Should be a good fit wherever he goes, a solid vet who is not going to complain about playing time.

Danny Ainge really don’t want to do us a solid.

I think Patty still has some gas left in the tank.

Here's the most recent game where he got some decent playing time..

Watch on YouTube

1:46 He's still got his quickness. Look how quick he moves going after this loose ball. You love to see this type of hustle/effort too!
1:56 does ok defending the quick Dennis Schroder
2:25 shows good quickness chasing Shroder around and denying him the ball

38% from 3 this season. 36% last season. 40% the year before that.

And he was good last summer at FIBA for Team Australia.

I just don't know if Brad wants to add another guard, especially one that is small. We already have white, Jrue and Springer who are all 6'4"..Pritchard is 6'1". So idk if Brad would want to add Patty, who's 6'2"..he might look to add more size.

But I think Patty could be a solid fit for the last roster spot, on the court and off..

We'd have some nice optionality for bench guards:

-The default backup guard who would get most of the backup guard mins in the playoffs: Pritchard

-Deep bench guard who would be on the bench for most of the playoffs but could be used a little bit in certain matchups if we need a POA defender to slow down a guy like Anthony Edwards, SGA, Brunson, Maxey or Haliburton for a few mins: Springer

-Deep bench guard who would be on the bench for most of the playoffs but is there as insurance in case Pritchard is struggling to hit shots and/or is getting hunted defensively and we need a guard in there who can shoot and provide more of a veteran presence/more playoff experience: Mills

I could see Patty getting hot and winning us a playoff game. Or just watching from the bench and providing some good vibes and veteran leadership.

6 of the top 8 guys in the rotation are natural perimeter players. All except Hauser can initiate the offense. They have Brissett and Springer behind them.

I don't see the need or fit for more perimeter depth.

Kinda reminds me of the options of House vs Cassell. Hey, we still have Cassell!

I'm surprised we're not getting Porter.
