It would be great if he got some exposure, if not minutes, during the playoffs.

Walsh is currently on the 15 man roster.

...and this year counts as the 1st year of his 4-year contract.

He's eligible to play in the playoffs, if that was the question (?). I doubt he gets to see the floor though outside of 30-pt blowouts.

Thanks. Gee, I forgot he was on the roster since he's mostly been in Maine. So Peterson, Davison and Queta are the 2-Ways.

I don't think Walsh would get court time in the playoffs, but it would be great to see he and Springer get more run during the rest of the regular season.

For the 15th spot, Kornet and Tillman have been playing well with Porzingis out, so it doesn't seem like Queta is going to get many minutes.

Maybe Brad will try out a 10 day contract or two to see what's out there, and if he finds a fit, then fill the 15th spot. If not, Queta could snag the spot.

Mainly, I'd really like to see Walsh get a chance to show what he can do, but of course understand this is not anywhere at the top of Joe's priority list now.

I want Walsh to play whatever Big G-league games/playoffs he has left. But other than that he needs to get minutes with Boston as much a possible. If Boston games have become less important and we have a much easier schedule, then by all means get him in there.

happy for him.. I liked him coming out of college. Sucks to see injuries and/or age set him back.

Cs really serious about team chemistry.

It really would have been a nice gesture if the Cs signed IT.

But it's looking like Brad and the Cs don't want any distractions.

That’s awesome I hope he does really well. Win a few playoff games off the bench big guy.

That's hard to do if the Suns can't get past the 1st round.

Would someone please tell me if we have any restrictions in resigning our own free agents to extend them under the 2nd apron rules next season. I am talking about Holiday, Kornet and Tillman. But also, about extending Porzingis, White, Tatum and Hauser down the road. Can we extend Tatum, White, Hauser and Porzingis this offseason or do we have to wait. I want Brad to lock these guys up as soon as possible.

I believe the Celtics have no restrictions resigning their own free agents other than how much the owners are willing to pay in total and what Bird rights players have in their contracts. It's getting new talent that is very tricky.

Hauser, Tatum, and White are all extension-eligible starting this offseason iinm. Porzingis just got extended for two more years. Holiday can sign an extension starting April 1 if we don't want him to reach UFA or opt out. Once/if they reach UFA, Jrue, Kornet, and Tillman could all be signed to their respective max since we have full bird rights.

Have peterson, JD and Queta do a rock paper scissors tournament to see who gets the spot :)

BuyOut Guy has been awesome.
I don't know where the Cs would be without him!

A year ago I was pining for Stanley Johnson, who is apparently chilling in the GLeauge, maybe with my binky from last summer, Javonte Green?

This year the best this thread could muster seemed to be Otto Porter, who instead retired:)

I'm guessing we have to wait for summer to get enthusiastic about possible 15th guys again.

Yeah our collective enthusiasm for this topic fell off a cliff the last couple weeks, which is sort of reflective of the talent available but more subtly highlights how good this team has been, including the depth.

Otherwise I’d have moved on to spam posting a bunch of tmz articles trying to predict the return of Blake Griffin (which would still be a little bit cool) but they can’t even fit all the bench bigs onto the court as is (despite having the most sporadically available front court headliners possible).

Blake would've been sweet, but as you say there's no room, and more importantly this team seems to be pretty locked in. Just keep it simple and keep rolling :starwars

At this point, I would just pay George Hill his per diem to sit on the bench. Just so I can say we added a veteran before the playoffs. (Do his knees still allow him to sit on a bench for a prolonged period?)
