JT had a brilliant first half, an awesome box score line, but only played the last 5 minutes of the second half. Ain’t going work in the POs. MVP candidates don’t do that.
#7 had a nice Q3 & finally made 2 clutch FTs but otherwise really sucked.
Zinger shot poorly. Big dunk at the end.
Derrick was his usual all around studly self - but had a poor Q4.
Al solid.

But the pattern of looking great playing the tomato cans of the league and struggling against better teams should worry any Celtics fan.

Doc took over a Bucks team that was 22 games over .500 (32-10). Doc has now coached this team to one game over .500 (12-11).

I have a feeling the Bucks strength of schedule/victory has improved significantly under Doc.

I hated this game before it even started. Despite missing our own very important starter I knew nothing good would come narratively for this team. If we win it's "of course we won against a team with no Giannis". And if we lost, we have now lost to a team without Giannis.

But I was wrong. It's gonna be worse.

After ESPN's **** pregame bitching and whining about how we haven't won against good teams in the clutch, now we do. But instead it will be how we supposedly look suspect for losing a 20 point lead (which is NOTHING BTW in today's NBA; today's 20 point leads are yesterday's 10 point leads). It's like playing whack a mole against a football team that moves the goalposts. We all realize that we're not gonna 20-point blowout our way to a title. Teams will makes runs against us in the playoffs. We will play in some close games. We made enough plays to get it done. That should be the takeaway. Playing in games like this are a GOOD thing for a team heading into the playoffs not a bad thing. But we know how this is gonna go.

BTW, VC to PP for his incredible energy tonight and CP to White for hitting big shot after big shot to keep the Bucks at bay.

Agree Tatum took MoSt of the night off, esp 2nd half BUt Giannis playing wouldn't have made a huge diff. His touches would have negated alot of what Middleton and Portis(esp Portis late) were able to do

Yeah. Brown had only 4 times as many offensive rebounds as turnovers, while barely scoring over 20 points. What an overpaid bum!
