Justified or not, sports hate is permanent. Golden State fans want to fire Kerr all the time. Spoelstra gets regular criticism. Milwaukee fans couldn't wait to get rid of Budenholzer. Nurse got run out of Toronto. It's the way of things.

Fans are emotional beings who transfer the grinding angst of human misery in a pitiless universe on to sports figures. Go Celtics!!

Agree.

What I don't agree with is the extremism.

Calling Joe a moron or an idiot is not difference in opinion anymore.

True. People get wired up. I've found that for me, instead of going to a dark place over coaching decisions, the best way to deal with things is to bake bread. Here's today's loaf. It's just under two pounds, made with bread and light whole wheat flours. I will slice it after it cools.

Problem with Sabonis is on defense.

Reminds me of Dino Radja.

Hot takes from pseudo-intellectuals shouldnt be taken seriously here.

Personal attacks are taken seriously. Once again respond to the post but don’t attack the poster. We all know who you mean after the ever escalating back and forth that’s occurred so it’s not some blanket statement. - Shackles

I think Scal was right, he really struggled with KPs size

He couldn't even score against Kornet.

Sabonis has short arms* which reduces invincibility in the NBA. Still, it's impressive how good he is against most teams.

*Note to self, don't draft Kelly Olynyk if there are viable, longer armed alternatives.

Not just KP.

Last season I saw him struggle against GSW in the playoffs.

Domas was better off having Myles Turner as the rim protector.

With the Kings, they're never going to be elite if he's the guy in the middle.

This is a fun thread.

Let’s keep the energy up for a first round exit though

I’m a pretty lenient mod but you can’t bait people like this, especially ones you know will respond while waiting to hit the report button. Everyone knock it off. We’re all bored waiting for the playoffs to start but why is this how we act when we’re bored?!?!?

Keeping with Gant's baking theme.

Is it really that hard to just stick to the topic of basketball and our team? If you don't like someone's take, talk about their take specifically or just ignore them. These constant personal attacks are getting old.

What’s really sad is that this forum is a shell of what it once was because far better posters were chased off and ban hammered for far less egregious posting.

I took a 6 hour ban a few weeks ago for asking someone “what are you complaining about”.

We used to have game threads that reached 100 pages and far superior discussion here. And it wasn’t all that long ago either

NBA officials admit they got this wrong lol. Should've been a shooting foul on Svi. FTs should've been awarded to that guy.

Came here as a Kings fan. I see this recognition of reality. I agree. I say ya’ll seem poised for serious run. Good luck. And I’m out.

Now that the Lakers beat Cleveland, Joe was right in trying to hand this win to the Kings.

This Celtic win really helped the Lakers.

Is ironic that guy refers to Mazzulla as a clown.

Apparently clowns exist in prehistoric times.

Do not bait or insult other posters. -b
