Hero Celtics Subdue Pyromaniacs! Victory Cigar vs POR 4/7

Post#1 » by bisme37 » Mon Apr 8, 2024 12:04 am

WOW you guys we won the big game again! I'm calling my therapist cuz this is clinically insane!

Jaylen hit 10,000 career points, KP had a block party, Payton and Derrick and Jrue and Al were all great, and it was a full team effort from the C's with everyone playing well!

We got killed on the boards tonight but were otherwise good on both ends, and the deep bench held it down in the 4th this time to secure the win haha. Even the great Dalano Banton couldn't stop us!

Bucks Tuesday, Go C's!

Gotta go with West Coast P for the cigar.
Hey you! Can we come together?

Can I give it to Banton?

JB and PP I guess.

Celtics now 16-11 when taking less than 44% of their shots from 3. Not a lot of "chucking" today (apart from White) and got destroyed on the boards, still got the W.

This is just the beginning.

Imagine the Cs next season and beyond.

The decision making will be better and the system will be 2nd nature to the players.

Team’s been incredibly consistent throughout the season despite guys being in and out of lineups.

I'd rather not send the starters to Milwaukee on tuesday, am I alone in that? Let's see what the bench squad can do

Suggested this too, but NBA has been enforcing the rule about multiple stars sitting out nationally televised games. They can fake injuries maybe.

100%

The problem is it's a nationally televised game.

So let's see what the Cs can come up with.

I want them to go play in MIL. The best way to keep winning is to keep winning. Only four games left and only two of them (MIL and NYK) have the potential to be competitive — can rest vs CHA and WAS and then have a week off for the playin stuff — don’t flip the switch to “off” and/or loose your edge and/or build any rust and/or any other cliche I can think of — oh definitely do not take your foot off the gas!

Win out. Send the Bucks a message. Get your reps in while you can.

Yeah marathon training happening, hardest longest training runs are like 3 weeks out. The last week prior they really taper and recharge I’d imagine it’s pretty similar.

Just play the starters 1/4 ...keeps the n b a league office happy and saves us any concern about injury. That and will probably beat them anyway..

For this game, JB gets the cigar for the 10k, and Pritchard CP for being best player on the floor for a lot of it.

If it's up to me, KP, JB, and White sits vs. Milwaukee.

Let JT and Jrue play.

Went PP and JB...nice to see Banton doing well.

I was disappointed Rob asked for there to be no tribute video, I was looking forward to that.

Pretty Amazing that Jabari Walker, a 2022 #57 pick, got 18 Rebounds in 34 minutes. Either he's a really good rebounder or the Celtics aren't. Just realized that Portland shot 40-102 so there were 62 opportunities on the offensive end, plus 38 missed shots by the Celtics. He got 6/62 on Offense and 12/38 on the defensive end. Wow. Keep in mind that the dude is 6' 7", and 9 more players fighting for the ball (in theory).

17 points win and the average margin of victory during this 13 games home winning streak went down. The Celtics are truly posting some absurd numbers this season.

Question is can he do it on a regular basis or just against the Cs?

Wonder if he is upset that he got traded.
