This is the easiest path to the finals since I became a Celtic fan.

Let's go!

No but they are weak on the wings, not very physical in the front court (especially if Allen is out), and Mitchell & Garland are ideally neutralized by Jrue & DWhite.

The Heat have always beat us by being disciplined, prepared, pysical and unselfish; not by having the better players. Cavs don't worry me much, they are just good enough that our guys will take them seriously, not good enough to win more than a game or two.

I'm really surprised the Magic couldn't beat an injury hit and small Cavs team.

It's more of the Magic choking than the Cavs winning.

Did you see Wagner's shooting numbers? Jon Starks, game 7 1994 finals, would be proud!

Yeah, I heard it on the First to the floor podcast.

Playoff pressure is real.

Banchero went 10-28 and Suggs shot 2-13.

Days of Larry Bird and Magic Johnson being immune to playoff pressure might not be seen again.

It really takes time to win in the playoffs and finals.

Magic was well older than Banchero is today when he was known as "Tragic Johnson" for his supposed penchant for choking.

Magic, a rookie, played Center in place of Kareem in that 80 finals and the Lakers ended up winning the championship.

Overstated; indeed the story is that he played all 5 positions.

Anyhow, he was viewed as choker for his later play against the Celtics.

Yeah, especially in that 84 finals.

I'm just saying we won't be seeing guys like Banchero and Wemby winning championships in their 1st or 2nd year.

Today's NBA is really different.

Abolishing the man to man illegal defense really had a big effect on the NBA game.

Kidd looked incompetent before Mavs traded for PJ Washington and Gafford.

He must be good at managing big egos. It is not easy to coach Kyrie, make him play alongside someone as dominant as Luka.
