Could be a shot at AInge too, and I am here for it.

Something I was thinking about recently, ages of some key players next year:

Jimmy Butler: 35
James Harden: 35
Paul George: 34
Kawhi Leonard: 33
Kevin Durant: 36
Stephen Curry: 36
Lebron James: Turns 40 in December.
Klay Thompson: Turns 35 in February
Draymond Green: Turns 35 in March
Khris Middleton: 33
Damian Lillard: 34
Jrue Holiday: 34
Kyrie Irving: 33 in March

I think of age 33 as the first year post prime. A bunch of all-time stalwart players who have dominated league discussion are entering the last chunk of their career next year. You can sort of see that transition happening in these playoffs where the only "post prime" guys making it to the second round are buoyed by younger stars.

In a series against the Knicks, if you want to put Brunson and Tatum as the two best guys on the court, Boston would have the next 4 or 5 best guys. Against the Pacers it would be the same.

What a goddamn disgrace it would be if we didn’t make the NBA finals.

Good 1st quarter in the Knicks/Pacers game. These two teams are going to end up killing each other before the series is over.

Knicks expend so much energy on D with their 3-guard lineup they're vulnerable to getting run off the court in an up tempo game

Knicks and Wolves might be the two most hardworking teams in the playoffs.

So if I'm reading the report correctly, there have been 6 unanimous picks for Rookie of the Year. 5 were #1 picks. The 6th was Dame.

The Wolves and Thunder are the only two teams without a former NBA champion on their roster.

Thibs is not a bench guy, so that's not unusual.

Pacer’s continue to play with pace and Knicks don’t play their bench then it will be interesting to see if the Knicks get worn out

New York will be fine. They’re not gonna get run off the floor and Indiana isn’t good enough defensively on a consistent enough basis.

They are doubling him and he is finding the open guy. 7 assists. Nembhard and Neismith have to hit open shots
