Sadly, it doesn't seem like we're gonna get a Lakers-Celtics finals in the Jays era.

I just can't believe the amount of times the lakers lose to the nuggets in close games.

Same can be said of us in games vs Miami. The talent gap between us and Miami is greater than that of Nuggets and Lakers, but we still have found ways to lose over the years.

I mean, we've beaten Miami plenty over the years. I reject your comparison. The lakers just won their first game against the nuggets last game in like 12 tries.

Would you say we are better at closing out games than miami? Would you say we defend leads well in the 4th qtr? Its not a win/loss comparison per say, but the ability to win/lose close games. I struggle to trust our team in close games vs miami. Happy to be proven wrong going forward, but I feel like we have lost a lot of games vs Miami we had no business losing (noting that yes, we have won vs them too - just not enough)

Could've been worse. At least he didn't draft Hield, Dunn, or Bender.

Lakers already won their title back in December. Nothing to play for.

It was a great pick but it's getting clear that Murray would have been better.

We should have 5 go to clutch options but it's more like 0, 1 at most. And when you have one, that's equivalent to zero (like that garbage shot to end q3, or was it 2)

Challenging fouls is bs, too subjective, why did the Lakers get the ball after the challenge but we got a jump ball last week? Why not overturn the gift call that gave lebron the fts to tie it up?

I'm with you as far as the trust I have with the team in close games. I'm also with you as far as Miami goes with close games specifically. My only point was that the Celtics and Miami have been more of a back and forth where the Lakers and Denver have been more of a completely one sided thing in favor of Denver.

Lucky for us we won't have to worry about winning a close game with Miami. We will win comfortably for the 4th time in game 5.

Can't believe Ham let Austin defend Jamal for that game winning shot.

And they say Joe is bad.

But if you listen to Lakers fans and the media, AR is an amazing defender. And a borderline all star, but I digress

I watched the FIBA World Cup last year and even the international teams were hunting Austin.

He's very good on offense, but he's a weak defender.

No way Jamal was getting that of an open look if White was pursuing him.

By tomorrow night, Suns, Lakers, Bucks and Sixers could all be gone while the Thunder and Wolves are relaxing in the 2nd round after first rounds sweeps. I totally called all of that over the summer.

Is it even possible to call him good on offence? He lives at the free throw line and if you play for the lakers, that data can't be trusted

He got game, but the points he scores he also gives up on the other end.

I get the Edwards hype. He's an exciting plater, but he complains to the refs more than Tatum. A lot more. I'm also not sure the league wants him as it's face. His off the court record isn't great. Edwards and Morant as the faces of the league?
Win it for Al!!!
