Calf injuries tend of have a manageable recovery time, provided you let them heal all the way. Play too soon and it comes right back.

I'd give him a game or two in round 2. We shouldn't need him against Cleveland.

We definitely need KP against Cleveland, a team with Allen and Mobley can give you big problems.
I hope that Jrue will raise the level of his game because if KP doesn't play, we need his contribution on the offensive end.

It would be nice to take those guys out of the paint, but we'd be favored in the series without KP, do saying we need him against Cleveland is a real stretch.

We need him if it gets tight down the stretch of the series, but we still have way more talent without him.

Did I mention that Jaylen Brown sucks?

Good win, Derrick was incredible. Bad day for the Jays but Tatum looked better as the game went on, Jaylen was brutal. I thought Jrue was pretty solid.Al was terrific. PP and Hauser need to contribute more or they’ll lose the limited minutes they get real quick.

Two solid wins on the road but the offense has to be better as we go forward in the playoffs. This won’t cut it

Jaylen's role, as it should've been all season, is to be as much a lockdown defender as he can be, pressuring ballhandlers and hounding opposing wings. Be aggressive on the glass. On offense, more offball, attacking quickly on the second side, on secondary/weakside action as ball swings to him and a killer in transition. JT and White really should be the primary initiators on offense. That would minimize his poor decision making that leads to turnovers and reckless drives in the paint.

Less is more with JB esp when KP and White are cooking.

You must have had a stroke on that one 4th sequence where JB tried to showboat on a dunk attempt where the ball just slipped out of his hand. To make up for it on the other end, he just left his man at the three point line for an easy 3

I agree on Jrue, but disagree on Pritchard. Pritchard has been solid with hustle plays and occasional scoring. Furthermore, his defense has held up. There will be a series where his D gets tested, I would imagine, but so far he's been solid.

I didn’t get that SVG rant about Bam. That’s easily a tech. And it’s the kind of tech you want your dirty players getting, so Miami will live with that. It seems like nothing to say there. The man was a broken tape all night though, so maybe he was desperate for something new to say.

I appreciate Tatum in this game. When a guy like White gets hot, it’s easy for your first option to go cold. He’s able to jump start his game better now. Lebron at this age is the master of this and I hope Tatum learns it too.

Our offense worries me a bit ngl.

I can see us going 7 with either the Magic or Cavs without KP.

Its nice that our board has poster that are so brilliant that can watch a basketball game and diagnose a player based off a single replay and in turn tell you exactly how long to miss.

And at the same time can tell you exactly how bad your team is despite them winning a game by 14 points in the playoffs.

Pritchard's been abysmal on defense but it's not as noticeable because they are not scoring directly on him all the time. But whenever he's put in an action, the entire d collapses and is put into rotation and someone ends up with an easy bucket.
Or he just randomly fouls people while doing the most routine things on defense. It's been very frustrating to watch.

Or magic. I think that series goes 7 games at this point.
