This year it was:

* Traded for Porzingis.
* Traded for Holiday.
* Designed a perfectly meshed roster by re-signing key veterans and acquiring others.

Due to apron restraints, next year his executive activities will be limited to something like:

* Traded a first round pick for future second round picks.
* Drafted a guy in the second round.
* Re-signed a veteran.
* Signed a minimum salary free agent.
* Talked to Jeff Van Gundy while watching practice.

Brad as EotY, Celtics top 5 in SRS/net rating all-time, and Derrick White w/ Larry Bird trophy are my Banner 18s. Too bad Tatum is in the way of my dream.

Alison Brie aka Annie Edison knew what she was talking about all along.

Well deserved. I love Brad. The Celtics are lucky to have him.

That being said, we aren't a championship team yet because the KP injury is concerning and so is coach Joe's inability to make adjustments.

Actually there is a thread on the General Board too, time to post it there as well!

I suspect the award is for more than strictly the trailing 12 months of work.

It's easy to see why Tim Connelly of the Wolves was in 2nd place ... but what exactly did he do in the last 12 months only to deserve such a high ranking?

Curious as to what he will do for an encore next season, as he ties one arm behind his back just for sh¡ts & giggles.

True, they almost certainly consider contributions from previous seasons, and also I'm sure he gets some credit for three straight years of serious contention. But in this case, Brad easily clears the threshold for EOTY based on what he did over this season alone. Picking up Zinger and Jrue for some light assets, extending Pritchard on the cheap, and getting the Jrue extension done is more than enough. You don't even need to go back to look at White, Hauser, Mazulla, and Horford

You guys remember when the board was pissed we gave up Josh Richardson and a pick for Derrick White. Dudes on this board had never seen White play.

LMAO. Clowns.

Yeah people were looking at counting stats and saying Derrick White's basically the same as Dennis Schroeder or Josh Richardson.

Feels like the best thing Wolves did was nothing, which seems like that might have been really hard to do based on what happened the year prior. That whole thing could have looked really ugly, kudos to the team for turning it around like they did.

The highlights are the Porzingis and Holiday trades plus the subsequent extensions but SBOBO Brad Stevens has been a very busy dude since the Celtics got eliminated in the playoffs 2023.

• hired Sam Cassell and Charles Lee as assistant coaches
• hired Jeff Van Gundy as consultant
• traded for Kristaps Porzingis and two FRPs
• acquired Jordan Walsh and some future 2nd round picks on draft night using one FRP
• signed Oshae Brissett to two-year deal
• signed JD Davison to two-way contract
• extended Kristaps Porzingis
• signed Jay Scrubb to two-way contract
• signed Dalano Banton to two-year deal
• extended Jaylen Brown
• signed Svi Mykhailiuk
• signed Neemias Queta to two-way contract
• signed Lamar Stevens
• signed a bunch of guys for Maine
• traded for Jrue Holiday, burning one own future FRP
• extended Payton Pritchard
• signed Nathan Knight to two-way contract (Scrubb waived)
• signed Drew Peterson to two-way contract (Knight waived)
• traded for Xavier Tillman, burning two 2RPs
• traded for Jaden Springer, burning one 2RP
• signed Neemias Queta to two-year deal
• extended Jrue Holiday
